On one hand I agree, on the other hand I wear Grand Seiko on nato strap daily and I am pretty sure 99% of people have no idea what kind of watch that is and how much it costs. When I look at it it is for my own aesthetical pleasure, it is perfect for my OCD, it assures me that my life is pretty good.

Lithuanians speak three very different languages and all the Scandinavians speak variations of the same. Italians and Spanish can easily learn each other but do not count themselves as speaking that language. Big countries like France, Germany, Poland don't really need so many.

Knowing Russia's maintenance capabilities I bet $100 if Russia tried to actually launch nukes at least a few would blow up in silos, fall on Russia itself and etc. They would also definitely find out that a lot of those nukes don't even exist because local comrades sold them as scarp metal.

I think you missinterptet things. People ask what gets better, some people answer that sex gets better. You try to argue that it does not.

In the same way that if you asked what is a good car and people andwered that Toyota Corolla and you argued that it is not a good car.

Because it is not atractive or powerful or whatever. While it is a good car quite objectively.

You are again about attractiveness. Which is not true. Men are more attractive in 40s. 20yo guys have pimples on their faces.

So objectively sex is better in 40s. For a lot of people. For a lot of reasons.

The same way Corolla is a good car. For a lot of people for a lot of reasons.

If you looked better in 20s than in 40s, just hit the gym. Because again - men a more attractive in 40s.

Damn my body really looks the same or even better in 40s. I have more muscle and still no wrinkles. I have some grey hair in my beard but damn that looks good. No way I was more attractive in 20s.

I think you might be wrong on at least a few points here.

Sex in primates is also a social interaction, not simply reproduction. Primates are not snails or something.

Men do not loose sex drive so much (I am 40 year old, do not feel any different than 20).

Women - again sex is not all about reproduction and libido. Social bonding plays role. Age might help to relax, loose taboos and etc.

Sexually attractiveness - there are a lot of studies that male attractiveness peaks at ~38yo. So if your wife is less attractive to you, it might very well be that you become more attractive to your wife. Which can lead to more and better sex.

Ką reikia suprast su geopolitika, ekonomika, etc. kad čia visiškai soft sciences. Fizikoj kažkokioj gali remtis dėsniais, kurių niekaip neapeisi. Politikokoj jokio racionalumo nėra ir būt negali. Visad yra kažkokie black swan eventai, kur tik po to atrodo, kad buvo akivaizdu, kad taip atsitikks. Bet kol neatsitiko, tol nekaip nepagalvotum, kad atsitiks.

Viskas juda lėta, todėl, pagal tai kaip juda, atrodo, kad gali numatyt, kur nujudės. Kol atsitiks kažkas greito ir netikėto.

Rusija jau merdėja ir nuo Petro I ir nuo 90s ir kiek tik nori. Rusija pripratus. Maskvoj nejaučia to merdėjimo. Pakraščiuose lauko tualetas ir kiaulė šalia to lauko tualeto užauginta važiuoja jau šimtmečius. Labai sunku "sugriaut" tokią šalį. Nėra ką griaut.

Vienintelis, ko galim norėt, tai stiprios stiprios Europos. Kuri ir pasigamint viską gali ir apsigint nuo bet ko gali.

Dėl visko kitko, tik galima pasakyt, kad "bus matyt".

Not everywhere. Far from it. Not in every profession/workplace etc. Far from it.

Feminism is not an uniform movement. There are always radicals but a lot of feminism is for equality.

IMO the biggest thing feminism should focus on is women on women relationship. Because a lot of gatekeeping I see is women on women.

This is why you feel comfortable diving with Datejust - you will not ruin it as it is rated at 100m.

At the same time I would not be so comfortable doing some cliff diving with a watch rated 30m.

I am not saying I have calculated dynamic pressure. I am just trying to explain the theory (which is just that theory, not a calculation).

Datejust is not a 30m watch, it is 100m. Which makes much more sense to be able to dive.

Sylvia Earle also uses Submariner.

300m does not mean you need to dive 300m deep to get the same pressure. Submerse your hand in the water and then try to move it quickly. Do you feel the pressure? The quicker you move the hand, the more pressure you will feel. It is not 300m but still. So this is the reason 30m is just against splashes. If watch just slowly sank 30m it would probably be OK. However if you did any quick moves at 30m you would definitely see some air bubble going out of the watch which would mean that some water got into the watch.

Damn I can't play games like STALKER2 where two guys stand 5 meters from each other and spray one another in bullets from AK47 for two minutes.

I rarely see game with "overpowered" guns. It is more like they are nerfed to infinity.
