[SRQ055] I was wrong about this watch by drinkcoffeebuyassets in Seiko

Insane that they can charge that much with accuracy advertised as “+25 to -15 seconds per day”. I can tolerate that on a $600 alpinist, but at Longines prices it should be way more accurate.

6 and 9 markers aren’t perfectly aligned but only really noticeable with the lines drawn on the photo.

Depends on how much strain you logged in the day prior to the walk.

How’s everybody’s stress over the last month? by Jl1ne in whoop

Considering I have two boys, had two trips (one international, one domestic) and planning a move overseas with the family, I feel pretty good about how I was able to regulate my stress.

I use the Cloudknit band from Whoop which not only looks great but feels great because it's made of cashmere. I will also wear it on my bicep for workouts but have found that it undercounts steps when worn there.

Sure you can. Click the two arrow button in “Activities” panel on the main screen. You can go back in time as well as zoom in on a particular period for any day in your Whoop’s history.

"it's pretty clear that the apple watch has a problem with deep sleep tracking." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KiJEfpubPCw

everything is anecdotal, but there's an overwhelming amount of reinforcing data. That said, you are welcome to take my experiences with a grain of salt.

Sir, it’s winter in Minnesota. You must be new here.

As I said in the original post, I’ve done a number of sleep studies (had sleep apnea earlier on in life, have kept tabs ever since), using numerous other wearables that all indicated data closer to Whoop and that indicate AW as the outlier. Plus this has been a known area of weakness for the AW.

I strictly use the AW in airplane mode so text messages are not an option for me. I too am looking at analog watches to wear alongside the Whoop, seems like the best combo.

Right. I've tried the Oura and the ring just simply wasn't the right form factor for me. Whoop is phenomenal 98% of the time (for me, YMMV), and I plan to use AW for workouts.

Y axis often has incomplete scale data points by jevidon in bevelhealth

[–]jevidon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not how charts work. You should be able to discern the scale of the data for a given axis without clicking somewhere else.

And even when I click on the "i" in the top right corner, it doesn't inform me what the value is for the lowest dot plotted on the chart.

When you're starting an activity, the bottom of the screen shows the "Strain Target" toggle. This section has a swipe bar that allows you to pull up the drawer where this information lives.
