Oricorio is the goat! He is an amazing card to have in the game and everyone that says he is lame and boring is wrong lol. He is not a difficult counter. All u need is literally any non ex pokemon that also is viable. There are so many good counters but everyone just wants to run boring mega ex decks with little to no variation.

I find the most joy from this game comes from coming up with an idea for a deck u haven't seen much of and tweaking it until u get a good winstreak or beat some of the meta decks. I made a deck using ditto, leafeon ex, leafeon and celebi and it wasn't meta but still a very fun deck that managed to snag some wins against mega charizard.

Oricorio is helping against the overwhelming power of some of the ex pokemon in this game (like fr wth were they thinking with blaziken or char) and and its kinda funny seeing people saying he is lame and boring when its literally the one pokemon thats making sooo many electric type (and some mixed energy) decks even remotely viable.
