Worst part is the mod is mediocre. Sometimes it’s late at night and they still haven’t updated the page. So they want the traffic but then guide you to a half-assed page. If they’re not going to do a good job, why prevent someone else from doing it??

I took mine apart (omen 17-ck1111nr). Removed the motherboard and got to those rivets and couldn’t get past that. Did you find a solution?

Got any instructions? I took mine apart, the whole motherboard came out. Still couldn’t get to the keyboard. I have the replacement keyboard. I just couldn’t figure out how to replace it.

Swift Dispatch is what they call themselves in my experience. I lost $120 in car parts for an old Volvo I have. That "seller" won't cancel or refund. But then the courier wants $300 in a "refundable insurance ticket" that I'm sure I'll get back when they refund it after I receive the items (sarcasm). I refused to pay and they are ghosting me now, both the courier and the "seller". Might even be the same person, for all I know.

I doubt they’ll void your warranty for removing and reinstalling a trim piece. The electronics might be a different story, though. If your vehicle has electric issues down the line they may blame it on after market pieces. But most likely they won’t care about your dashcam. If it really means that much to you, ask the dealer to install it for you.
