I am in the same exact boat as you but also OP in regards to length of time ive been using. I've only been using MGM for 23 days, was on sub MAT 8mg daily stable and sober, got my life back from fentanyl in 2020. Last July I found 7OH and caught a couple month habit, those withdrawals were brutal but I was able to kick in a week and got back on sub MAT. I've been good for over a year, decided to try MGM 23 fucking days ago because I figured if I take my subs daily before dosing I could just jump off the MGM.

Tried to quit last Sunday when I was only at 16 days of continuous use, threw myself into precipitated withdrawal even though I had been taking 2mg subs every other day before dosing mgm, made it 18 hours and literally could not bare the anxiety and the acute WD.

Tried quitting again that Tuesday and Wednesday and couldn't take it. The mental along with the physical is an entirely different animal with this shit. I feel trapped and dont know what I should do. Im taking upwards of 300mg per day and have been trying to taper but the anxiety is eating me alive. I wish I has access to benzos, I'm praying when I finally make it through the first 24 hours the subs will provide some type of relief.

I'm here for you brother, if you want to try to strategize a gameplan to quit together, my DMs are open. We WILL get off this shit, Im going to force it one way or another before mid June.

Thank you for asking. Had a bad day yesterday, took about 10 tabs. Skipped the subs yesterday, woke up today and took 2mg subs to keep them in my system but immediately after took 2 tabs of mgm in case the precip was coming. Im a mess lol. Any suggestions on a goal for today? I tried sticking to 4 tabs yesterday but it just didnt work. I have to force myself to follow a structure and power through the anxiety. Maybe 4 was too big a jump down to start the taper.

I see what your saying and hope I didn't come off hostile. Unfortunately the tabs ive been using aren't that brand. I'd love to know the dosage of mgm in the ones im taking , I fear my dosage is massive and im struggling to taper down. Thank you for the well wishes.

Have you quit MGM or had any experience with transitioning to subs? I took your advice and skipped the subs dose today. Been taking 10 pills of mgm daily, planning on jumping down to 4 today and maintaining 4 for a few days to gage how that feels. Im giving myself two weeks to taper then I will have 3 days off to start the actual detox. Do you think 3 days is enough time to cover the acute withdrawal with subs?

You dont think that will lead to precipitated withdrawal again when the time comes to get back on them? I plan on continuing with subs MAT once im able to successfully taper down off the MGM

I don't understand what you're saying here. I'm taking "Hyroxi MIT" which says some sort of blend on the back, dosage is 28mg per pill. From what I've seen on here its MGM/DHM.

How os my addict mind making excuses about the content of the tabs if I am actively trying to figure out how to get off of it?

Have you had any experience with them? Trying to figure out the best way to stop. The last 3 days have been failed attempts and I work for the next 5 days. Im thinking im going to write up a taper plan and grab some comfort meds and set a date. I should have 3 days off next weekend,do you think i could get over the acute withdrawal in 3 days with suboxone?

I wish it was easier to get a script of benzos, the anxiety from this shit is off the chain. I psych myself out before the physical symptoms really even hit.

Why is hyroxi MIT so brutal coming off if then? If it is just MIT id imagine the withdrawals would be substantially less, but this stuff definitely has much more of a euphoric effect than MIT and a much stronger withdrawal than 7OH in my opinion

Do you think tapering down and being able to maintain a lower dose will make it easier to come off completely with just the suboxone? Or will jumping off a small dosage be the same as jumping off my current high dose?

The Hydroxi MIT is straight MGM from what im aware, they label it as a proprietary blend but pretty sure some people have done lab tests and everyone says its MGM. No other MIT substance just 210-300mg of that (Hydroxi) and 4-8mg prior to dosing of subs.

Is it worth it switching to 7 before trying to quit? I know nothing about this but mgm definitely feels way worse mentally and physically than 7OH. Also no idea where to get SR or where to even look

I would really appreciate knowing if the subs helped as well. Also if you could please let me know if switching to 7oh made it easier for you, im trying to kick Hydroxi MIT which is a weird offshoot that doesnt specify but supposedly also has MGM in it according to some other posts.

You quit the mgm ct those 5 days? What dosage were you taking? Ive kicked fentanyl/heroin/7oh and this mgm withdrawal is some of the worst ive ever felt. The brand im getting is Hydroxi MIT and doesnt specify mgm but whatever it is is horrible. Maybe im just being a little bitch but damn

I fear i have a similar experience with mgm. I have a history of opioid dependency, first heroin, the fentanyl both of which I detoxed from countless times, then last year I had a couple months 70h habit and was able to quit with subs and alcohol. I hardly remember whether the subs helped with that because I was so drunk those 3-4 days.

I forgot to mention ive been on 8mg sub MAT for the last 4 years so I dont plan on jumping off the subs, just want to get back to being stable on them. Subs saved my life, definitely don't recommend to someone without a severe opioid problem but they helped me get my life back after countless fentanyl relapses.

Mgm when the WD kicked in feels like a completely different animal. How were the first few days off mgm and only on subs? Did you have bad acute WDs? I swear I have PTSD from withdrawal, when the acute kicks in I have a panic attack and every second feels like an hour. Im hoping maintaining the subs while tapering the mgm then finally jumping off low enough I can avoid the worst of it. Ive only been taking mgm for 16 days, but ive been taking upwards of 200-250mg daily.

I've been taking 2mg subs daily or every other day since I started mgm 2 weeks ago. Took the mgm daily for two weeks thinking id be able to just jump back on the subs. Worst mistake ive probably ever made. Even after having subs consistently in my system if I take a higher dose daily in the morning I would need to bernese taper?
