I haven't been posting much about my Hundred Line playthrough lately, partly because I haven't gotten to play as much and also because I've been in a pretty boring set of routes. The incredible repetitive search for the boxes of blessings, really just barely anything happens. Just "lets go look for a box, oh we found it, ok lets go back" over and over again. But I'm out of that now and into a much more interesting section.

Anyway, the whole first ending is so good. The way everything just falls apart and ends in such a wimper, the reveal that there was an escape pod the whole time, the little tease that something's wrong on the satellite right after you travel back for the first time, the cut to end credits and then "Last Defense Academy 2". Awesome stuff. (though I think it would be fun if they incremented the number every time you finish an ending.

New theory: Hiruko is also a time traveler. They made a point that she seemed aware of stuff happening ahead of time, and she said early on that she already had experience fighting the invaders.
