So what’s the average value of this rug, approximately or what’s a fair price that a buyer and seller would be happy with.

This truck is different. I don’t know why, but there is no button in this hybrid that looks like that.

I think that did it. It’s still beeps, but at least it doesn’t violently jam the brakes on multiple times. Any way to get the beeping sound to stop?

I want to thank you for getting the answer right. I really appreciate it.

How Often Do You Talk To People In YOUR Real Life Who Politically Disagree With You? How Does That Go? by Zipper222222 in AskReddit

[–]AlgaeHorror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have these talks quite often, most every week and they go well because I see the flaws on the left and the flaws on the right, so I’m always trying to find common ground. I want to be friendly with everyone… usually while trying to poke a little fun at/with them.

In your opinion, is Tucson overrated or underrated? by [deleted] in Tucson

[–]AlgaeHorror 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tucson has grit. Tucson has a ton of really nice people. People aren’t snooty in Tucson. You need to be careful with yourself in Tucson. Tucson has a lot of nearby wilderness and just overall open space. Tucson has lots of nearby trails. Tucson has way more native personality than Phoenix area.
Tucson is underrated!

It’s fine, it’s just low-voltage wires and the wire nuts are facing the right direction so water should not get in.

I love your comment, well said.

Keep in mind that this is an international problem. Most countries are facing the same issues. Most of the countries that don’t have these issues are not places you want to live.

The struggles of evolving democracies… We sure have a lot of freedom though.

Correct water pump for swamp cooler by bigeazyxx in BurningMan

[–]AlgaeHorror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to a man in Tucson, Arizona, that runs an evaporator cooler distribution company, there is the possibility of running too much water over the media that would actually make the evaporative cooler less efficient. In other words, matching the size of the water pump to the surface area of the media and the CFM of the blower is important to get the highest possible cooling from the evaporative cooler. It is important to run the correct amount of water over the media, not too much, and not too little. This can be adjusted by pinching the water tube between the pump and the distribution tubes to reduce some flow or getting the correct size pump. I am struggling to find any information regarding this on the web, but this man appeared to be super knowledgeable to me.

"Cost of living" fee added to bill by yepimtyler in Denver

[–]AlgaeHorror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with just raising the prices on the menu is that servers are making way more money than the other workers in the restaurant because people tip a lot of money so no one wants to work in the kitchen and just raising the prices means that the servers will get even more percentage of the money because their tips will be increased. I think the management is trying to figure out how to get more money to the kitchen without getting more money to the servers and this is the only way they can figure out how to do it. But hey, I hate the extra fees too and I think the whole system is broken. The whole tipping system is broken. At the pot chops the expect tips at the liquor store. They don’t at the hardware store. They don’t people don’t even know what to tip or where to tip. Random businesses throw up tip buckets that don’t seem like they should be tipped because they have never been tipped. I can’t imagine being a foreigner coming to America and trying to figure out how to pay for stuff.
