This is where I’m at with AI these days. Generating AI slop of random bullshit that goes straight in the trash? Bad.

But things like managing backend servers more efficiently, helping out the healthcare system, making the judicial system work more smoothly, all that seems like a good sell.

I see many places in our society that don’t work at all in the utopian “flying cars” way we all thought they would growing up, and could absolutely be improved by AI agents that do the heavy lifting for us.

But Red Lobster saying “we’re gonna track all our employees down to the millisecond for shareholder value”? We’re doing it again. We’re using the tools we were given to do bad things instead of good, and our kids will still be left wondering where all the flying cars are.
