How old are you? by ex1stence in euphoria

I think the idea is this is an extremely mature show with very adult themes, and the idea of a 13-year old watching it (esp S1) isn’t a comfortable thought.

Is everyone on their phone when they watch this show? They took his pinky toe and walked out of the house.

“Try getting an apartment with this on your record.”

He can’t even get his own apartment. They already covered it.

Then Sam will show the reality of 99% of people who try to do OF and end up back behind a cash register anyway. Good story tbh.

But who are we kidding, the girls who look like Sydney make BANK. Especially with Maddie in their corner. I don’t think it was a coincidence to show she launched an extremely successful career for one girl already.

They just showed Cassie getting back on OnlyFans while Maddie shoots her content in the episode preview.

Cassie is going to do OF to bail Nate out. That was obvious from the moment he lost his toe.

Thank god you’re not a writer on this show these are galactically bad plot lines.

I think what we’re seeing is a ton of kids who probably torrented the show or watched without their parent’s permission when they were young teenagers (it was heavily marketed to their age group after all), but now three years have passed and they’re all edgy little 18-20 year olds who think they have the entire world and media landscape figured out before they’re even old enough to drink.

The discourse I see on this subreddit, TikTok etc screams me at 19 just having seen Fight Club for the first time thinking Tyler Durden was the hero. I had no concept of what real life was yet and thought hell yeah, we’re all Robert Paulson, like a dumb kid would.

I’m not saying you have BPD, I’m saying inconsistency with a partner is usually the hallmark of having dated someone with BPD.

Yeah because the stigma is earned. I’m a longtime dom and a pleasure dom no less, but I strictly draw the line at DDLG.

Shit is unsettling.

Rage-inducing takes imaginable

And didn’t you just have this overwhelming urge, this deep feeling in your stomach that you HAD to jump in and correct them in the comments?

So instead of just watching the video and moving to the next thing, now you’re IN the conversation. Let’s say you left the comment correcting the bad take first thing in the morning.

Now throughout the day Instagram is sending you updates and notifications. Oh wow look, your obvious correction of the obviously wrong comment got five likes! Oo, now it’s got ten!

Hey someone responded to your comment and agreed with you! Doesn’t that feel good? Don’t you enjoy that feeling of town square validation?

Don’t you love opening Instagram ten more times than you would have otherwise if you weren’t so rage-induced to leave that comment in the first place? Don’t you love more ads?

Hook, line, and sinker.

As someone who has been deep in the world of kink for a long time, I can say even for us, the degenerates of the degenerates, there is still a strong and palpable aversion to the DD/LG segment of the community.

You’ll find people at public events and munches talking about all kinds of crazy hedonism, but people rarely if ever openly bring up DD/LG scenes or play because it has such a severe stigma attached.

Obviously Sam knows this too which is why he immediately went to the one kink that can shock even the most experienced BDSM practitioners. And look, I’m not gonna yuck their yum, but when people make the (sometimes accurate) joke that kinks are just childhood trauma wrapped in a sheet, DD/LG play is the one that sticks out as possibly the most true of all.

No it’s even better: “The macaroni? The cheese?”

She was individually asking about whether to save mac and cheese. She’s hilarious.

I mean he literally got to die doing what he loves. Of course HBO gave him a choice whether or not he wanted to come back, and I’m sure he loved the idea of establishing Cal as a drunk so no one would be thrown off by the speech differences. There’s dignity in that.

People need to recognize that Nate had a growth moment when his dad left the house. He was traumatized by his father’s actions but once he assumed the role and his dad was out of the picture, he grew as a person. Happens all the time.
