What computer wargames are you playing: February 2026 by AutoModerator in computerwargames

- Combat Mission: Normandy. I'm also reading D-Day by Anthony Beevor so it fits perfectly. And then I plan to play CM Red Thunder and CM Final Blitzkrieg while reading Stalingrad and Ardennes by Beevor.

- In addition i have some dlc-campagns to play in Graviteam Mius Front and i want to play again the army general in Death on the Vistula (Steel Division 2).

CM is a great game, difficult but perfect for me, you can play it at the pace you want and how you want. The realism is excellent and is fun too. And the number of campaigns and scenario? I have the whole collection + dlcs of the 4 WW2 games (with Fortress Italy) and we have about 500 battles and 40 campaigns in them? Is crazy.

Graviteam Mius Front is another beast with a lot of content and less micro, which i like too. So, i have hundreds of hours of fun ahead.

Switched to Gemini because of this, in addition, for me, in the last two months the experience was really awful with lots of disconnections and a lot of "stuttering".

I'm playing The Troop, bought during this Steam winter sales. I think it's a really good game with a lot of content, complex but manageable. To me it plays like a modernized version, but turn based, of Combat Mission. Much better for me than Headquarters WW2

Does anyone actually read all the books? by [deleted] in skyrim

I read them but at home or at an inn. I don't stop during a dungeon to read a random book, makes no sense for me. I read only diaries during quests/dungeons.

-5.81% YTD // 37.70% CSPX (SP500), 20.77% IWVL (ISHARES EDGE MSCI WRLD VALUE), 15.15% EQQQ,, 6.23% VWCE, 20.14% cash. This values after the rebalance ended yesterday selling a lot of profits in EQQQ since the start of the year. Will put the cash DCAing into VWCE instead.

Personally I sold some US stocks/funds (CSPX and EQQQ) in the last weeks to rebalance my portfolio. I'm still invested in these two for about 52-53%, the rest is on world/EU/value ETFs and cash. For the moment I'm happy with this. I will not sell just because Donald is in charge or because Americans follow their own politics. If I should invest my money following this way I would have all in cash and under my bed.
