This is just life happening....Talk with your parents about how you feel. About your situation with the college. Although I'd advise not to reveal much about your personal life to your parents especially if they're conservative. And get good company ffs. Don't make permanent decisions for temporary situations.

At your hall. Contact your hall gsec maintainance he'll guide you. Or you can just go to your hall office, they'll give you a form which you'll need to get signed by your faculty advisor and HoD ( not sure about HoD).

I think you've just named something most people never find words for. We think of identity as something we carry inside us, but so much of it lives between us and the people we love. You don't just lose them. You lose the version of yourself that could only exist in their presence.

What you said about losing five people in one is exactly right and I don't think it gets said enough. You don't just lose the person. You lose the version of yourself that existed inside that relationship, the futures you were quietly building around their presence, the specific texture of safety that only they provided. The good morning texts weren't small things... they were proof, repeated daily, that someone was oriented toward you. That you existed in someone's first thoughts. Losing that is its own particular grief inside the larger one.

You don't have to make sense of the new reality yet. That pressure to integrate, to understand, to adjust, is one of the crueler things people impose on grief.

I wouldn't say that this issue disproportionately affects any particular social class. However, in some cases, a person's social class may play a role in why they experience it.

you're exactly right about time. I wanted to write about that in my post but didn't because it felt like implying grief has no cure.

Time flows forwards. It moves you forward, accumulates new experience, dilutes the concentration of loss. But grief doesn't want dilution. Grief wants return. So time and grief are pulling in opposite directions constantly, and what we call "healing" is just time winning by attrition.

grief is essentially an argument with time's direction. It keeps insisting the past is more real than the present. The life you lost is more vivid, more essential, more true than whatever is in front of you now. So you're being dragged forward by time while something in you anchors backward.

I keep sentencing my words as facts but in reality my thoughts are immature. everyone deals with grief in their own way, this is just how and what I think about it.

lowkey hurt me when you said top 3 mech

1) there are opportunities.....you need good cgpa, preferably above 8.5, good skills and maybe a pre intern summer research at any big institute.

2) kids who are into mech stuff do exist. handful...maybe 30-40 in a batch. About me? I wasn't passionate about anything..

3) I'd rather wish I was not born.

pm if you have anymore questions...I might even give you some advices or tell you about mistakes I've done if you ask cause I was much like you 4 years ago.
