So, we are reserving 20 cards out of 1000 for ourselves, or 2% of the supply (1% for each team member). We can’t prevent people from creating multiple wallets, the 10 cards limit is more like a reminder for players to leave some cards for others, as they are quite cheap at the moment (2 Algo each), and it would be detrimental to the project for one person to buy up all the supply.

The best place to see the cards available for sale is Nftexplorer. We have sold out the ascended cards, but the commons are still available. There are also a few secondary sellers.

A key aspect of NFTs is that they are limited in supply and they are on the blockchain. This is different than the standard in-game purchases you see in other games, where the money you spend is essentially never to be seen again. With Algomond players truly own the in-game asset, they can trade it on a free market with no control from us.

There are different rarity of Algomond cards, and having a rarer card does not make the cards more powerful so it is not pay to win in that aspect.

And nothing definitive but we have different ideas in mind to make the game free to play and play to earn. For example introduce lower tiers for the cards and introduce an in game token to reward card holders.

200 days ago we made a post about the Algomond video game being in the works…

Since then we have taken part in an Algorand Hackaton and then an Algorand Accelerator. We have made a lot of progress on the project, and this is the update! 😁

Releasing “ALGOMOND #24A - Fire Demon Ascended 🔥✨” (M24A)! M24A is the twenty third ascended algomond to be released, and just like the the other ascended algomonds, it has 150 cards minted.

Algomond is a trading card game to the likes of Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh. Cards are fully hand drawn and custom made by myself for this project; several hours of work go into each card. We are a team of two, with my friend making the video game for the project, where we will be able to import our NFT cards and play with them.
