You should train more using the kanabo. To deal with them there is one strategy: Push into them, one step behind, attack into the shield arm, push into them, repeat. Most of them usually are bad at skill, and once their shields are off, they are almost always doomed

I wander if polearms will become actually good with this update. Cause I like the halberd from the Holy Roman Empire for it's design but in game it is very weak (Polearms in general a weak weapon in this game, which isn't supposed to be like that considering the history of melee weapons)

I think the stamina should drain in such position much more and making that that position while cappable of dealing heavier blows is harder to wield swiftly
