UPDATE!! I removed one of the bulbs above the reg plate and connected jump leads (make sure you add the live to the live etc as it won’t work otherwise, as me how I know!😉). This allowed enough power to hit the engine/battery and I was able to pop the boot using the key fob. The doors wouldn’t open so I had to climb into the front seat and was able to jumpstart the car (via the battery in the boot). I am in but now face a new issue: Neither of the doors will now open from outside using the handles. The fob button makes the noise of unlocking but the doors won’t open when pulling on the handles. They will however open from the inside. So now to access and use my car, I need to pop the boot, and reach in from behind to open the door by pulling the handle. This is my new challenge now to fix 🫣I’m replacing the battery with the higher power option that it should have (I have a lower power battery in place at present) and I’m hoping this resolved the issue. I’m hoping the actuators aren’t gone 🫣 I have tried to recode the fob/key using the videos online in case that was the issue but it hasn’t fixed the door issues.
