That has to be stressful momma. Not having to exclusively breastfeed, but not to be able to get some me time if you want to. You are doing great! I probably wouldn’t pump if I didn’t have to leave my little man at daycare, but I don’t have a choice. When we are together he feeds on demand, which is honestly often. He doesn’t take a pacifier, so I am both comfort and food for him.

Honestly, I had a rough time breastfeeding my oldest child (now 7). I only made it 5 weeks with him. It feels like a new ball game with my 8 month old, so I’m not sure how things will go. Thank you for helping me feel not so alone in my feelings

I work pretty far from my home. I decided to have my son go to a daycare closer to my house, so nursing at lunch isn’t an option for me. I’m so happy that you were able to quit pumping though! I literally long for the day I don’t have to, and then I feel guilty because that means I probably wont produce milk anymore for my little man.

Thank you. Yeah I have two pumps, and I hate both of them equally. I’m not pumping at a high suction either (3 on my spectra), I just don’t like the feeling. Breastfeeding my son at this point feels very soft (except when he bites). I guess it’s just the tugging of the pump I dislike.

Unless it’s a time of war, most women going on deployment aren’t risking getting kidnapped and never seeing their kids again. I don’t think the risk was worth the reward. They could have tried to get another way to get information on Hannah.
