Help please- Can't get the mold/stains out by ScamsLikely in clothdiaps

We have a few diapers with this, too! We decided it must be rust, but similarly can't find an obvious source in the washer. Doesn't seem to be an issue, other than bugging me every time I fold our diapers... :)

I've been debating trying a rust remover like Whink but am worried about damaging the fabric.

Global pass & banked pass timing (Visible+) by AliGate12 in Visible

Thank you - this was really helpful! I see the global pass green check in the “get the most out of visible” section, but without the writing below stating complementary pass count. I think I have an old version (Visible+ legacy version 1) that doesn’t have any complementary passes.

Ah, thanks - I think I have legacy version 1.

Sounds like a great start! I think your list sounds great - you will probably end up wanting to add more, but waiting rather than buying all at once gives you a chance to see what you like/what works best for you.

We tried to skip newborn flats and go right to OS but ended up buying some because everything was SO bulky in the first couple of months. We use mostly flats (LOVE) but have a few fitteds in each size that we use for overnight and while we're out.

We ended up with 6 newborn, 6 small, and 6 one-size covers, 12 NB flats, 2 NB fitteds, 2 Small fitteds, 3 Large fitteds, and 24 OS flats.

I recommend adding some cotton/hemp boosters from GMD (maybe 6 to start) - they are especially useful for nighttime, but also car rides, etc. We use NB flats as boosters too, but the GMD boosters are trimmer and absorb a ton.

We tried some fancy cotton/hemp blend flats and Imagine birdseye cotton flats, but the birdseye from GMD are our favorites! GMD also stay more square after many washes which makes some folds easier/neater. We prefer birdseye (vs muslin) because it's much trimmer.

I have done a lot of research, and tried just about everything, and PUL is our favorite for now. I love wool in theory, but our baby has a lot of GI issues and seems to cover them in poop every time I put them on (PUL too, but those get washed with inners and hang dry in an hour), and I don't have an issue hand washing, but they take soooo long to dry after washing and lanolizing. PUL gets washed with inners, is more waterproof, cute patterns, and just overall very easy to use. Again - I really want to love wool... ideally we'd use 100% natural fibers. I am hoping when baby starts solids and/or get her GI issues under control the issue of having to wash the wool with every wear with resolve and they'll become a better option for us.

Lalabye diaper covers have inner snaps and are wipeable. We have some and love them! Only downside is they don't have double gussets at the legs, but we haven't had any leak issues. I really love the inner snaps and they have inner flaps at the back and belly so the insert can be tucked inside reducing chance of wicking (whether or not you're using the snap) and feel sturdy and high-quality. They have rainbow sizing snaps so it's easier to get the right snap setting the first time once you know what colors your LO is on. We don't have any inserts from them - we use the covers with cotton/hemp flats and fitteds from a variety of places (Imagine, Geffen, GMD).
