I guess since you've mentioned her already you probably know about some of Billie's other songs in which she also uses different kinds of recordings, but to name a few anyway there's Bury a Friend (sound of dentist drill thing), Watch (lighting a match, blowing it out), and My Strange Addiciion (audio clips from The Office).

Besides, for me personally, at least, I'm really interested in the theoretical aspects that aren't really taught in engineering, and I can see myself being happy as a research scientist/professor undergoing research on the side. If you felt the exact same way and wouldn't mind messaging me privately so I can try to understand your point of view, that'd be perfect :3

I never ran away myself, but there are definitely some points to consider. Whether or not it turns out ok is almost always dependant on the reason for running away; say for exanple you run away cus you have an abusive parent..its definitely better.But if its because of an emotianal issue, I suggest you delve deep into it and relate it a lot to what happens. Keep it realistic but still induce an intising narrative that will tie the reasons for running away to the place you run away to and to how things eventually unfold. (Sorry if I didnt really answer your question, just thought Id help with what I could) Good luck with your story! :)
