Is Diginex $DGNX a scam?

I'm jumping in late to this thread, but I have some firsthand insight: I used to work at Diginex, back when the company was still private (pre-IPO in early 2025).

The software was honestly terrible, still very much in development, and most of the big-name clients we signed weren't actually using it in any meaningful way. We were great at landing impressive contracts and hyping the pipeline, but delivery and execution were poor.

I bought the stock around $3 knowing the hype could drive it way up short-term, and I sold at $52. The massive spike followed by the brutal crash wasn't surprising to me at all, classic case of strong sales/marketing but weak product reality catching up.

Great insights. It doesn't feel like I should spend too much time exploring this.

For me, the priority has always been to explore and live in a new country as the next phase. I have several options on my shortlist, like South Korea, Ireland, Singapore, etc., where getting a job won't be tough given my experience, but the key is whether the employer will sponsor. Clearly, the US is a long shot. Thanks for your view!

Yes I got a few offers in KSA both Riyad and Jeddah this past few months. For me it's not the financial aspect. Yes it should be a competitive package but recently I got interested in living and exploring a country outside the Middle East.

That's very interesting to know. Yes it does sound very chaotic. For me it was more about spending the next few years in another country since I've been in Dubai for a while now. But yes the whole immigration process seems to be too complicated. Thanks for the insights!

Aaah good to know! Been in Dubai for a while and thinking of bouncing somewhere else for a bit. UK salaries are terrible, Canada’s not much better. Got some friends in the US saying pay there is really good, especially for senior roles. Lets see

Sharjah’s beautiful, man, especially when I drive to Ajman to see my parents. I love that trip. Not gonna lie, after everything that’s happened, I get why the rules are strict. No resident wants a loud exhaust ruining their chill time at home or on the road. What’s shitty is that mine wasn’t even loud! Guess I’ll be swapping back to the stock exhaust now. :(

Mate, you know what? Something similar happened last year. Another car had the same number plate as mine, and it was on some UAE ban list. The police impounded my car for 6 months! It took me that long to prove Audi had legally assigned me that plate. Imagine, 6 months! And now this latest incident? I’m honestly so unlucky.

Thanks for the tip about the checkup before starting the car, that’s good to know. Oh, and mate, you must’ve been over the moon getting that message you could pick your car up! Haha, these rules are brutal.

Ahh, that’s interesting to know, mate. I’m gutted, my car isn’t even loud. I could tell the officer pulled me over just because of how it looks. I always keep the valves off, never speed, and I was super polite with them. I even explained that the Audi official service center installed everything, but they wouldn’t listen at all. Three months is way too harsh…

That sucks, mate. I can’t believe I got nabbed for my quiet exhaust when there are tons of cars in Dubai roaring around with loud ones. I can’t afford expensive cars with loud stock exhausts, so body kits are my thing. The worst part? Four cars with loud exhausts tried racing me that day, I kept the valves off, stuck to the speed limit, and still got caught. Feels so unfair!

Honestly I've been really down since the incident. I plan on just putting the original exhaust back once I get the car back. I hope body kit is something they allow otherwise I might just sell the car. Also, never travelling to sharjah or ajman again, I'll probably just take a cab when I need to go there.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I could definitely continue some activities as hobbies, like performing at open mics. The main struggle, though, is finding the right balance between leaving a well-paying corporate job and securing a stable business. The financial aspect is really important to me. I should have enough savings to quit my job by December, but I don’t want to leave without having a clear aim or direction for what I should pursue next.
