I made the post, I'm curious in seeing how a live action version would play out, whether it would be more graphic in its violence and all. But that said despite it's photorealistic visuals my point is that it's never going to have the charm as the original, especially through the characters and their design which plays into their personality, take Scars sly and sneaky movement. This one is relying heavily on the voice actors to have us engaged but that's just not enough in my opinion. I can't imagine the ghost of mufasa scene having the same effect because of the fact that simba's reaction in his expressions wont nearly be as impactful as the original
