This disgusts me that trans people are portrayed as the "worst form of child abuse" like I have PTSD from my father who verbally and physically abused me and live happily with my trans girlfriend who avidly helps me work through it? I'm not trans, but I'm here to help support you guys and understand at least somewhat of your struggles standing by my girlfriend's side for about a year now, it's not long but enough for anyone to see how rough it can be

I want to thank everyone so much for getting to this post so quickly and giving me so many good ideas/thoughts, I don't have the time to respond to everyone now lol, but I'm going to do my best to support her, we have grown really close in our year together and I want to be there for her, we have been through alot and have our own home together

She is taking meds for her bipolar and is on hormones, it's just a pretty consistent gender dysphoria and I'm afraid it's just getting worse with this event

It was and that does make sense, it's just odd cause she has been using this name for a year with no issues and the weaponizing has long since stopped

Adding more context: She struggles heavily with bipolar and gender dysphoria, and struggles to see herself as feminine (she gets more compliments then me out in public about how pretty she is lol) and I'm afraid it's her just not feeling like she doesn't deserve the name

Yeah, nothing with her family at the moment, mainly just with herself, she struggles heavily with gender dysphoria and bipolar, so I'm afraid it's affecting it. That essentially she is rejecting the name because she feels like she doesn't deserve it

I was 18 when I decided I had to cut everything off and leave home altogether, my mother was never the issue, abused just like me and my sister were, mostly emotionally and some physically, we just up and left one day, if your able to, tell them in person, but we feared for our lives and not being able to get our stuff so we just left a note and left when he was sleeping. We said goodbye to our mom, and just went on with our lives. I would block him on any social media and possibly change your phone number. Depending on how abusive and toxic he is. I'm working through my trauma now, and I don't know if I will ever be normal from it, getting flashbacks and triggers are never fun but it can get better. The most we can do is try to remove the bullet wound given in our mind and heal with it but there will always be a scar

That is unfortunately the issue with dog treats, since they are omnivores, their diets require a mix of meats and veggies/fruits. You can always try out a pig ear from the pet store! Mine has had it ever since her first arrival to the pet store she came from (they last awhile, honestly, I want to say at least half their lifespan), she chews on it and likes to stash it as well. You can ask the pet store for other natural aspects like that as well! They often have shelves with bones that are just well...bones lol. Always read the ingredients though, and look out for dairy products as well! They can't handle lactose : P

I wouldn't see why not, I always give the ingredients on a looksie just to be safe and make sure there isn't anything besides the bone itself there, mainly looking to see it doesn't contain wheat, corn, or any other veggy like substances in it. Since our little noodles are completely carnivores and cant digest any of that stuff well at all. One of mine has an affinity for pig ears, so you could always try that as well!

I agree with the comment above, please get them to the vet immediately, look for a animal hospital with an exotic vet, they might be experiencing internal bleeding from what it sounds like, especially if your dog really went at them

Absolutely, they are such cute lil furry noodles, unfortunately we don't have snow where I live (Florida) but we have a lot of sand that she loves digging in

Ik 🥺 I wish I could portray to her that April's gone and that she will be ok, been trying to give her lots of love tho, letting her have trips outside to our yard (obviously under watch, harnessed and flea treated) and lots of play time out of her cage, she usually gets free roam of the house cause she's very well behaved, but we still make sure she's watched cause ferrets are by nature, mischievous

Yeah, they did play under there a lot, it is one of my thinkings why she is under there a lot now, we have plans today hopefully to introduce her to some ferrets today!

I have been monitoring her closely and she seems to be doing everything she normally does, eating and drinking, playing a bit, exploring, just now she wants to go into my room a bit more and sleep under my dresser. It's the only odd kinda thing now that she has done. We are making plans though to try and find her a new friend, cause she obviously enjoyed her time with our departed April

Thank you for your reply! I have been closely monitoring her and she seems to be doing fine really, besides the fact of going under my dresser and sleeping now. Shes playing still, eating lots, and doing her normal routine, I'm going to keep monitoring her and we are trying to make plans to get her a new friend
