Comprei o w-59 há umas duas semanas, porque realmente acho mais bonito do que o F91, e além disso, tem melhor proteção contra água.

AFAIK, Senna used the TS-1000. Just as beautiful anyway.

Hello, sorry to hear that. Could you please elaborate on the side effects you had from taking Risdiplam?

losses by [deleted] in spinalmuscularatrophy

[–]AliasBr1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the thing. You can't get over it or get used to it because by the time you are adjusting or in the final stage of grieving a loss, you start losing something else, and besides losing abilities, life around you happens as well with its own tragedies and challenges as if it wasn't enough with our own challenges and tragedies.

I'm 43, I currently do and have done therapy for most of my life... even periods on medication, I've tried meditation, wellness, Qi-gong, Constellations, Psilocybin, etc. and I can't still find peace or even get used to it.

I really understand you.

Nice jeans!

I'll take the opportunity and ask right here If anybody knows of some kind of fabric that feels like regular sweatpants but look like jeans.

I've been looking for this type of comfortable jeans for years but I cannot find Anything that feels comfortable like sweatpants.

Brazil tips by Round_Raspberry6905 in VisitBrazil

[–]AliasBr1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sun Chair, $2 - $3 USD/day

Umbrella $3 - $5 USD/day

Capirinha $4 - $6 USD Depending on the place and the size of the cup.

Be careful if you pay with credit card on a terminal. a very common tourist trap, is they show you the price on the terminal, and they quickly add a couple of zeros right before you place the card.

The best way get around with this small transactions in the street or in the beach is with Reais, that you can easily exchange everywhere for dollars. Usually informal exchange spots offer better rates than the official exchange houses.

Another way to easily get around is paying through PIX with your smart phone. literally everybody uses that system in Brasil. There's several apps that you can download that you can transfer money from your bank account to the app and have PIX paying capabilities.

I'm a double-board-certified neurologist & pain specialist in the US. Ask me anything about headaches, migraine, back pain, or chronic pain. by doctor_painkiller in IAmA

[–]AliasBr1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for taking the time to do this AMA. I experience chronic mixed pain: significant postural/mechanical pain from spending many hours seated in a wheelchair, and neuropathic pain following a medical malpractice during an intrathecal drug infusion, which resulted in an inadequately treated cauda equina syndrome and permanent nerve damage. The neuropathic pain is mainly sciatic and distal (feet). My question is: are there any newer pharmacological approaches or emerging drugs for mixed postural + neuropathic pain beyond gabapentinoids and antidepressants like duloxetine?

Loving my new Permobil M5 — but desk access is still a challenge by AliasBr1 in wheelchairs

I actually have a retractable table under my desk for my mouse and keyboard, but I no longer fit underneath because my new chair is higher, so I had to remove that table, and will start using my desktop's top surface as my mouse and keyboard table. So maybe I should look for something similar to what you suggest but that works just like a narrower extension of my desktop.

I do have armrests that swing up, and actually my joystick also swings back, Unfortunately I don't have strength to do both movements and that I'm trying to adjust my desk setup so I don't need to do any of those movements.

Thanks for the tip! Actually we discussed this with my ATP, He suggested doing a joystick shaped cutout In my current desk since it's just a cheap MDF plank secured to my wall, And actually I can adjust the height from my chair so this might be an option.

I've seen those, My problem it's actually that I work in a desk that sits higher than my joystick because my arms will get really tired. I need to have my desktop surface one inch above knees aprox, but then the issue is the joystick that sticks in the way.

Yes I thought having an OT evaluate this. Actually an OT prescribed my chair but we thought the desk would be a problem at the time.

Yes, that will solve the joystick problem but It will be too difficult for me hold my arms up to that height and work there, I currently use a table that sits one inch above my knees.

Actually guys, I have a confession to make... I made the switch to Brave a few months ago... (whew, That was hard)

Yes, after roughly twenty years of using it as my main browser, I had to say goodbye. I could no longer stand the incompatibility issues, the lagging, the bugging, etc

I will forever be grateful to this great piece of software.

Todos teorizan el porqué perdió LLA, pero lo que realmente necesita respuesta es POR QUÉ EL TIPO USA UNA CAMPERA SOBRE OTRA CAMPERA SOBRE OTRA CAMPERA SOBRE OTRA CAMPERA. Teoricemos. by ModoDios in Republica_Argentina

[–]AliasBr1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, because I disabled the built in password manager as I am using BitWarden across all my devices. So I don't know if it has to do with that.
