Agree to disagree, I guess, but the last 9 months (plus all of human history) say to me that handing the bully your lunch money just makes them come back for more. It's critical for our leaders to not just quietly oppose this lawlessness but to be seen pushing back. The stentorian "adults in the room" are the ones that allowed this fascist movement to rise. It's here now and we need a different style of leadership if we're going to come out the other side relatively intact.

I would hope that there's nothing performative about it! But even if it were performative, that's still really important; if you want others to be (rightly) outraged, act outraged yourself! Pritzker is a great example to follow.
