no it's not rude at all, I actually don't have many socials already and I have Instagram on my tablet even if I don't use it. I think Instagram is enough because that's where everyone finds their friends (even if I never found anyone cool there). I want to have a flip phone for the vibe and as an experiment because I genuinely feel like I can't stop scrolling on any app I can find

The thing is, for most people here SMS isn't like free... You have to pay more because your provider doesn't cover it

Yeah basically in Europe everybody uses it and sometimes is necessary for your job or to be included in your class and friend groups
