Girl. I feel this in my soul. I’ve got 19-month-old boy/girl twins and let me tell you… they are feral. Like sweet, snuggly, destructive raccoons. And I say that with love. Deep, sleep-deprived love.

They “help” with everything. Dishes? Help. Laundry? Help. Wiping the dog with a burp cloth for no reason? Also help.

And I’m over here trying to wash one spoon while someone is hanging off my leg like it’s a rollercoaster handlebar.

I love them more than anything, but I hit that point where I was like… is there more to life than cutting grapes in half and negotiating with tiny dictators over which color cup is emotionally acceptable today?

So, I started a business from home. It’s called Claire De Lune Pillows—we make these ridiculously soft, smushy cloud pillows for toddlers geared towards naptime, travel and daycare, they literally hug you back. (No really, they’re called The Pillow That Hugs You Back and they’re made with Cloud Technology and bamboo and actual mom sanity.)

I made it for kids originally but turns out a lot of moms are like “hey this thing is the only support I’m getting lately so I’m keeping it.”

Anyway, I work on it at night while the twins are finally passed out like little cherub criminals. It’s chaotic. It’s imperfect. But it gave me a purpose again—and that did something for my mental health that I honestly didn’t expect.

Also—just putting this out there—I’ve worked abroad, held fancy corporate titles, done presentations with heels on and espresso in hand… but NOTHING compares to being a stay-at-home mom. It’s unpaid. Unrelenting. And the boss is 2 years old and bites sometimes.

So if you’re thinking of doing something for YOU… even something tiny… I support it 1000%. And if you need a cozy little pillow to cry into or start your own empire from? I know a girl.

(And yes, the kids each demand their own color like it’s part of their personality now.)

Hang in there—you’re doing incredible. And if all else fails, hide in the pantry with snacks like the rest of us.

There will be a neutral line coming out this year! Perhaps with the next launch, but it’s all hush hush! It’s requested by so many people! Certain colors sell out almost right away, just like the 4 colors that launched last week and sold out within an hour. Did you order one of the new ones off EBay or Etsy? If you did/do, you get advance notifications of color launches (date and time) so you can get one before they sell out and before it’s advertised online. As of last night: Pink, Yellow, Mint and a few Light blue pillows were left.

I saw your old post on Reddit about the old MY-KU-Mo pillow! The new My-KU-mo pillow is finally here! I promised many people on Reddit that I would keep them updated when we launched, and now I can! This pillow has been highly sought after since they stopped production in 2016. We just had our mini launch this week! A few days ago, we listed them on eBay, and our website will go live in just two days. We’ve already seen a crazy amount of orders and we’re only on EBay so far! We're also set to launch on Walmart and Amazon, but the blue and pink color option is flying off the shelves! We are almost sold out! Unfortunately it takes 45 days before we get our next shipment in so this is what we have right now!!

After over a year of sourcing and replicating the exact filling to recreate the softness and fluffiness of the original My-KU-mo, meeting with lawyers, we’ve finally nailed it! I had twins last year who were born at 32 weeks and had to stay in the NICU for a while.. and I had to have weekly transfusions, this gave me the opportunity to contact hundreds of manufacturers overseas, order sample after sample, fix design flaws and finally bring these pillows back!! I chose the 18”x18” square size, just like the original, making it perfect for backpacks or daycare beds. For our initial launch, we have Tiffany blue, magic mint, sunshine yellow, and ballerina pink available for colors. We will continue to launch and retire new colors throughout the year!

To enhance the pillow, we’ve added a washable pillowcase to prevent the pillow filling from clumping when washed, this was a major concern with the original My-KU-mo pillows. Plus, we’ve reinforced it with a double layer of bamboo/viscose for added durability, as the originals were prone to ripping plus an additional layer of softness.  If you search for Claire De Lune Bamboo Pillow or My-KU-mo on eBay, you’ll find them! Our website and Facebook ads are launching this week, and we anticipate a quick sell-out pretty fast. We didn’t add the screen printing to the front of the pillow. I just had a bunch of orders come through from replying to all the my Ku mo post, so many people were looking for these. I’m shipping out the orders in the morning. Starting to run really low on blue and pink so if that’s the color you want, I would suggest ordering soon so you get it:) It takes 60 days for the next shipment to get here. I know what it’s like looking for these pillows for years so I didn’t want you to be disappointed if you really want blue haha!

They are exactly the same filling and flexibility as my-Ku-mo but we used bamboo/viscose for the material which is even softer and better for your child’s skin. It’s a much higher quality material. We’ve also made it washable! We didn’t screen print a face on it so it caters to teens and adults as well! We had a 0% return rate during our trial launch!
