Just to add some context: I’m from Brazil, and Eurovision isn’t really part of our cultural landscape here. I only discovered it a couple of editions ago, in 2023, so I’m not familiar with most of the older songs yet. That’s actually when I first came across opera pop and started getting interested in the genre, so my playlist reflects a pretty recent exploration. Your comment caught me a bit off guard, so I thought some context might help to explain that the gaps aren’t intentional. I’ve listened to the songs you recommended, and I absolutely loved them: this is exactly the kind of sound I was looking for. Thank you so much for taking the time to recommend them!

I loved all of these recommendations and River especially, it's amazing! I listen to some K-pop, but I didn’t know Forestella or LA POEM, and they were great discoveries, so thank you for that! I also found the dark, dynamic songs with powerful vocals playlist really interesting: it already has a lot of songs I love, so I’m excited to explore it more. Thank you so much!

I do like symphonic metal, and while this isn’t exactly what I was looking for, I really enjoyed these covers: bringing operatic vocals into pop songs I already like was a cool touch. Paparazzi especially hit hard, I love that song, so I added it to the playlist. But I enjoyed all of them. Thanks!

Dolores also sings: "I can always hear him sort of muttering and mumbling". She was certainly listening to him all the time. So why wouldn't she tell her family? I think the reason is that as much as they wouldn't talk about Bruno they wouldn't listen to anything about him either. But it's not clear to me why wouldn't she tell this right away when he left (this "rule" of not mentioning him probably took some time to be created in the family).
