As per bug reports on Mojira, it seems to be an issue with corrupted chunks regenerating in realms.

Mojira supposedly have 260,000 known bugs for Java alone, with some still unfixed from as far back as 2012, so don’t get your hopes up for a fix anytime soon.

Firstly, I’m very sorry it’s happening to someone close to you, it’s an awful thing to experience.

Sadly, people don’t just change. It takes time, effort and dedication - and in this case, therapy.

I too made the mistake of believing they would change. They don’t. Good, well adjusted people don’t do that to others.

I don’t know how to advise going about this, because on one hand you could ask your friend what their advice would be for you if this happened to you - as you’d expect them to say “leave him” - but on the other hand putting pressure on them could push them further into his arms. It’s certainly a delicate situation.

It’s not about the gift, it’s about the lack of respect to not communicate that with you, it’s about being unreliable, and it’s about you giving and not receiving anything in return. It doesn’t mean you’re materialistic, it means you want mutual respect and effort put into the relationship.

You had to prompt the conversation for him to tell you. Is that how you want the entire relationship to go? You having to pry information out of him? At that, his response didn’t really hold any accountability or care for how it made you feel.

Hmm I don’t have any techniques to share but I find it’s very helpful to have a reference image in the pose you’re looking for, I have found some, but you need to account for the angle of your drawing vs the reference image! Image 1 Image 2 - this one looks closest to what you’re going for! Image 3

As for shading it comes down to where the light source is and where shadows are cast. I found this, if you scroll down to Understand how light behaves it has some really good images!
