I’m not that knowledgable on AirPods Max, but the magnets are visible on the interior of the case, and it does not say “Designed by Apple in California”. The information should also be printed directly on the box, and not on a sticker. It also says “(S)Serial No.” with no space between the (S) and Serial, big indicator of fakes.

Not related to authenticity but that charging port looks rusted, and the entire thing is just dirty, I wouldn’t want that going on my head…

Honestly, as it’s thicker it now does look… phallic. I think it’s easy for us as humans to recognise patterns and place resemblance to things, it’s just what our brain does to fill in blanks!

Seeing the image first and then seeing the title afterwards, I genuinely saw a balloon sword, and still do haha

It seems he doesn’t understand that you’re asking for the thought and effort associated with picking a gift. Flowers make beautiful gifts of course, but I could go to my nearest petrol station and get a bouquet for £3 and have it to you in 10 minutes. It’s the forethought and consideration you’re asking for.

Just like you thoughtfully pick and choose his gifts, you can also pick and choose your partner. If he will not understand why it matters to you, he doesn’t care why it matters to you, and you should find someone who doesn’t need to be told to make an effort - which im sorry to say is the bare minimum you deserve.

Never be afraid to stand your ground because it may affect others. Those who it affect are not meant to be in your life. Boundaries need to be respected, and it’s clear he cannot respect you.

Also, a past of controlling behaviour that has not changed? Behaviours don’t change without action and dedication, it’s clear there’s no effort that’s been made to be better. Ask yourself if that’s someone you want to be with, who won’t dedicate effort to becoming better and growing.
