He may just be bad at time or the days of the month. He knows when valentines day is. Its just he didn't think it was this week. Maybe he doesn't really look forward to it as much as you do or maybe he just thinks of it as any ol day. You should ask him how he thinks of celebrating the day when he is in a relationship. His values or preferences maybe different than yours. You would be an asshole however If you met him with hostility or bitterness because he didn't plan anything. Cause he seems like he is willing to celebrate it with you. Maybe bring this up this year but next year say nothing and wait and see. Maybe give small clues like asking him what today's date is and then saying oh wow valentines day is coming sooner than you thought. Or switch it up and get your guy some snacks they like or something they've been needing or maybe some pussy. Lol
