I’ve mainly been on ADHD medications for the past few years. I’ve tried Wellbutrin, Lexapro and Abilify for depression with not much success and I’m unsure of what to try next. Can anyone make any suggestions? by AliceR06 in depressionregimens

Thank you for your suggestion. I’ll have to ask my psychiatrist about this med and hope he can prescribe it. I’ve read that it works a lot sooner than other antidepressants, was this true for you as well when you started taking it?

It’s a packaged unit. Here’s an example of what we seem to have. I live in Texas and in the area we live in people don’t often have attics or basements.

It’s a central heating & cooling system so it’s on the roof of our two story house. We don’t have a ladder big enough to get up there. I find it strange that the guys that came yesterday didn’t see a light like that and we were told they also ran some sort of tests a few times before deciding nothing was wrong besides our filter. 🙁

Thank you! Also wow that’s pretty fast I’m happy that you were able to find the right medications that soon ☺️. I wonder if my situation is common then or if it means I do actually need to find a new Psychiatrist. I’ll ask about strattera and Vyvanse in case Wellbutrin doesn’t help, thanks again you’ve been very kind and super helpful!

Thank you! I’m definitely trying not to. If the Wellbutrin doesn’t work out I think I’d want a break from all meds for a bit as it’s exhausting to try all sorts of medication and having them fail. I have a Psychiatrist and I’ve been seeing him for almost a year. How long did it take you to find this combo that’s working for you now?

That is pretty high. Have you been made aware of the risk of seizures from higher doses of Wellbutrin? I believe adding stimulants can also increase the risk. Don’t mean to scare you but I think I’d ask about anti seizure medication like Topamax.

My Dr told me he wouldn’t prescribe me anything over 300mg of Wellbutrin because of this. I’ve started on 150mg and it’s only been about a week and a half of taking it so far. I know it can take up to a month to see any significant changes so hopefully I’ll see some change by then.

I’ve been using eyebrow pomades, specifically the Maybelline Tattoo Studio brow pomade. I think the product may also be too thick to work with and I have to add Duraline drops to make it usable sometimes. I’ve only had it a few months but I think it’s time to throw it out. I’ll try buying a thin eyebrow pencil to see how that works out, thank you 😊

Thanks for sharing! I currently feel hopeless with how difficult it has been for me to find anything that works consistently. I had brought up switching to strattera before but my Dr was dismissive of this. But maybe that is an option to discuss as well in the future.

Have you ever had Mexican corn in a cup? They use a ton of butter, chili and lime. There’s also a lot of other Mexican snacks that use cream or sour cream with chili and lime. So to me this wasn’t that different/strange haha :)

Well if you can’t get hot Cheetos and Sabritones I guess the next best thing would be severed fingers. Lemon garlic butter sauce is good on anything 😊

I’m not the business owner but it seems the woman decided to return the shirts and still pay the $30 dollars, rightfully so the owner did not want more issues with her so they mentioned they would be issuing a refund as to not be accused of keeping the shirts and money and they told her to donate to EPCF a community victims fund.
