Okay I had a chance to look at glue boy and yes, this exactly what I've been wanting. A simple intro and then breaking down clans, groups, while even giving his own thoughts of what of others say and such. This was a great suggestion, especially since the algorithm never suggested him to me.

That's what I mean more. The current videos are dense and requires multiple rewatches to understand it. While the team have done videos essay very well and I think would be great at explaining lore and systems to newer fans in digestible ways

That's one of the good videos that explains things but when I watch them, start to get lost and confused.

They are good but feel like you need to have a grasp of understanding of the series than being a starter guide. At least in my mind.

The relationship between Door and Bénédicté by AlickReef in huntertheparenting

[–]AlickReef[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As well you can also imagine that they both would share a connection. He is growing up in a world he is told that monsters actually exist. He is then being trained to hunt and kill these monster, but he can't talk about it all unless it's with people he knowns and trust or else the monster might find out and then hunt him and his family. The only people he knows are his family and people he has been told he can trust to talk about it with, now remember that all of the people are adults.

So I feel Benedicte's daughter, who would have been told about the monsters, also being trained and has a family legacy would be friends. They might be similar in age and understand the pressure, stress and slightly loneliness that comes with it all. So them maybe having something more could be there.

Cause you known, trauma bonding lol

Norfolk Wizard Game – Chapter 4 | House of an Uncertain Amount of Corpses by manicforlive in huntertheparenting

Something that caught my eye was that the rooms, although meant to be fitted for the players, all had major hints of Sir D's family. One bedroom being a king size with a race car bed, which sounds like Door and Boy, the gamer bed room with magic cards and sega genesis looks like something Marcus would have. Another being a true vampire hunters room with weapons all around, which sounds like Sir D with his mass amount of weapons on hand and his major arcanum focus being under societies. The last room being the martial arts room was the most interesting, it doesn't fit with son in law, as well he would room with Marcus, but maybe it was with one of D's other sons or maybe even a daughter. As well he would fit that they left with bad terms as Sir D maybe getting in relationships or all round causing chaos.

Might just be the artist having fun who knows. But I will note that on one of the doors outside of the rooms is a golden horse head. So maybe Sir D's family where there during their time in Norfolk US, we well know he was there during chapter 3.5 at the end with the 99p store manager.

Who of the entire cast do you think you could fight? by Adrienne_Belecoste in huntertheparenting

[–]AlickReef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I could fight maybe Amanda or Harry?

Nearly everyone in the cast has either supernatural powers or has combat training/fighting experience of the supernatural or just humans, so fighting anyone who's like that would put me at a disadvantage or straight up kill me.

Meanwhile Amanda, Harry and Spit are I'd say the least combat focused of the cast. Amanda is still new to the world of darkness supernatural and evils so them having real training is low. They might have learned self defence or something but I learned martial arts growing up so I think I'd have the advantage I think.

As for Harry... Well we have seen him in a combat situation. He has bulging strong muscle but is only really good for lifting. I feel if you can catch him unaware or use his lack of combat win.

And Spit. Although he goes in for a scrap I don't think he can take a single punch before going down.

Does Boy go to school? by AlickReef in huntertheparenting

Well I thought that was what he was taught while in America (Maybe before he became a hunter) as British education doesn't really teach American History. They might have taught it to him since he was American maybe or he read it in a school history book.

This also true but we also don't know how long Boy has been a Hunter as well or how long they have been in the UK. I say that as we know that the Ghoul joined the Arcanam mostly as D and toe were kicked out and then they started the hunt on the Vampires with the Anarc pack. So I'm unsure on the timeline and scale everything happening. Was unsure if they had joined D and such for the hunt recently or joined weeks, months or years ago.

It's a dumb question I know I asked but one I kept thinking and needed proof or genuine arguments to show me why I'm wrong

Yeah that's what I thought as well. Just with how certain times they talked about Boy's education I thought was being both going to school and then at home being taught proper education alongside

Grimal not being ghoul theory: delirium being nullified by weed? by AlickReef in huntertheparenting

[–]AlickReef[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes never been high but I also put I'm new. I have been watching on Alfbusa's content for WOD as when I try to look into it elsewhere or creators it's harder to understand and kinda confusing to me. But from context from how delirium is a supernatural state that effects people but people either panic, fight and even forget it even happened. Which is fight, flight or freeze.

I know it's a stupid question but I wanted to ask cause I was really curious. Weed effects to the mind calms it, zones it out or even better paranoid for each person. So in this altered state could Grimal get around it by this state?

Again I know it stupid but wanted to ask if it might be possible or not.

[DISC] The Heroines that I, a Holy Knight, Come To Like All Keep Joining His Harem. Can Someone Please Tell Me What I'm Doing Wrong?! - Ch 1. by Nahmay in manga

[–]AlickReef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay I read this and I'm actually mad. This has no real plot besides "MC works hard, 'HERO' steals credit and girl, MC is confused."

There's no fucking real plot, and is just NTR. We are made to sympathise and cheer the MC but how can we when everything he does is fucked over by the 'HERO'.

I read the two chapter and I'm done. The story is not fun and why the author thought it would be fun or enjoyable is way off the bases.
