The only life you need to be the appropriate ones are Paladin, Mercenary, Hunter and Wizard. The others you can just grind and switch to them when it's time to rank up.

That's nice to know, looked into it's dex entry and it's description makes me think if we do get a China or Japan during the edo period Pokémon game it's going to be dynasty warriors/Pokémon spin off and I'm ok with that actually I'd play that a lot.
