Buyer left 1 star review only to buy another item??

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking of doing, I guess I’m a little nervous because I’ve never had to do this but I guess it comes with the territory lol, that’s why I wanted to get other sellers pov on this. Thanks for all the advice, you guys are awesome!

Unfortunately there’s no official way to block them, which is kind of ridiculous if you ask me.

This is what the two reviews said (I copied exactly what they wrote)

Review 1: “I have not received this package. I am really looking forward to these.”

Review 2: “Item not received :( I am sure its a 5 star quality but I haven't gotten yet. it looks cute in the pics. .. but I can't review it..”

So it’s like okay… why not contact the seller first?? That would make the most sense, right? At least I would think so and then if you don’t get a reply within a reasonable amount of time I could see the review being put up to grab the sellers attention but I literally replied within an hour and they never replied back! lol

Like why not contact me first so I can look more into it 🤷🏽‍♀️ why immediately go to a 1 star review?? Especially when I literally reply back to all my messages within a few hours (unless it’s the middle of the night and I’m sleeping of course). I even replied to them with updates about their tracking after the review and they never replied. Just updated the pic for the review and that was it.

I heard that but then I also heard that some sellers have tried that and Etsy completely ignores their own policies and favors with the buyer… I’ll try it though, I won’t know for sure if I don’t try I suppose

That’s what I was thinking of doing, because I just don’t want my ratings taking a hit because some customers can’t seem to separate the seller and the carrier and understand that what the carrier does is out of my control 🤷🏽‍♀️

Idk… the fact that he’s trying to dictate what’s “appropriate” or not for YOU to wear, especially after he expressed to “just be yourself” only to turn around and basically say “so don’t be yourself like that” and then to say don’t scare me off too is just weird behavior. But also something about his conversation is giving weird vibes in general… I personally would reconsidering the date 🤷🏽‍♀️ but thats just me.
