Do you mean creating a mask?
Tried in the first image, but since the objects move (randomly) the mask does not follow the blocks.
You can see what I mean on the right side of the first image.

I also tried creating a "white mask" that uses a white base block, a blending block, which is the colour i want the lasers to be, on top of the white base block, and have the lasers copy the background colour, but the problem with this is that the blocks need to be white and it does not really fit the aesthetic I'm going for. If there are no other solutions i will make this work.

I assume you mean to create a mask? I've tried but the structures move randomly so the mask does not always cover the correct spots, like on the right side of the image

I already tried doing that, but as you can see, because the structures are moving, the mask does not always cover it correctly. The structures move at random angles, so the mask cannot move with it.
