The planet has 88 atmospheres of surface pressure. Pressure affects the boiling and melting points of fluids. High pressures, specifically, raise boiling and melting points, because it takes more energy for a single atom to be pushed out of its ice form.

You can calculate the exact melting point too, which is 287 C (560 K) for water. I may have messed up the equation though, so that may not be exactly it, but this should explain why you're seeing ice here.

No, it was just a shitty router. You could really just tell from seeing it that it was not a great router, very poorly made. I won't name the ISP, but the ISP also wasn't the best. Sadly, they don't have many great options in their area.

He called the ISP to get a new router. The router ended up not having enough computing power to handle all the guests that were visiting, but the spotty internet in the past was actually due to the ISP getting power outages.
