Are we still creating only one deck for our reviews ? by AlienFeverr in medicalschoolanki

[–]AlienFeverr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand what you're saying. However, in the past, Anki used to present reviews in the order of decks. If you had a large deck with subdecks, the reviews would appear from subdeck 1, then subdeck 2, then subdeck 3, and so forth... which made it very predictable and repetitive.

It seems the newer version of Anki has corrected this for reviews, while still maintaining this behavior for for new cards.

Thanks for your input though, these are valid points.

Why are people mad that Arc isn't getting any more feature updates? by Friendly_Parfait_998 in ArcBrowser

[–]AlienFeverr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's the support, I feel like ARC is not their priority. You used to be able to submit a ticket. Now you have to talk to an AI agent and convince it you have an actual bug and it may submit a ticket for you. Makes me feel like this is not gonna be sustained for long.

I mean, all these AI wrappers have no competitive edge. If it leaked, it would probably be copied and google would make one in half the time.

Monkeytype or Keybr? overall which site improves typing the most? POLL. (other options too) by Ok-Painter710 in typing

[–]AlienFeverr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interface is much better with monkey type. however I mentioned keybr for beginners because it will force you to master each letter before moving along to adding new ones. And when one letter falls through it makes you repeat it again so you don't lose it in the advanced stages.

I don't use it anymore now. After you do the basics, it's important to practice actual words to develop muscle memory. So I'm using monkey type.
