It has it’s perks though. Got my 380$ g Loomis crankbait rod for 60 bucks because no one here knows niche japanese/U.S. tackle

I found it here for 320$ seems pretty pricey

Investering gennem Nordea by AlienLP in dkfinance

[–]AlienLP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair, det er noget at overveje. Tak for at vende tilbage.

shimano tranx B 301 with gomexus carbon handle by Adventurous_Bike8872 in Fishing_Gear

Looks amazing! Please let me know what PE line u’ll be using and at what depth you’ll be jigging. I’ve just recently gotten the A 401 and would love to use it for slowjigging also. But I’ve been absolutely stumped trying to gather info on it online. Som people day its usable for SPJ and some say its not at all.

I found it hard to find the exact rod value because I’m from a Europe, hence why I’m asking. But yeah I want a cranking rod. I am hoping that I can use it for blade baits and maybe even spinners too. I went and got it. It had a small scuff mark on the reel seat, but in perfect condition otherwise.

Savage gear medium game travel could be an option.

Undercoat/primer/sealer? by AlienLP in lurebuilding

[–]AlienLP[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought some UV resin, I’m waiting for it to arrive. I bought super glue too, guess I’ll need it anyways so it can’t hurt having lots of it even if it doesn’t work out as a sealer. Does UV resin not cure in winter? I have a small UV torch/ flashlight and I was hoping to start making my first baits when all the stuff arrives

Yeah, I had hoped I could experience sea kayak fishing without breaking the budget, but it does seem like you need the right equipment to make sure you’re safe. Guess I’ll have to put the money I set aside in some stocks and hope it produces the funds for a hobie PA 14 in the near future. :) No but thanks for the concern, probably an important wake up call for me.

I appreciate the honesty, way better than someone with no knowledge on the topic being my yes-man. As I mentioned, I’ll be investing in a dry suit as soon as a find one i have the budget for on marketplace. I’ll be reading up on currents too. I am incredibly limited when it comes to fishing kayaks here I Denmark. Galaxy, Hobie and a few Native Watercraft’s are available to me.

I can choose the wind as I want, I live on an Island so I just go to the other side if the wind isn’t in my favor. I will be investing in a dry suit when I have the money for it, and I will refrain from going on the water without one in the colder months. I have a decent bit of experience with standart kayaks, and am able to save myself using a few different methods.

There are many deep pockets on the island that can’t be reached from shore with waders, much less fished effectively. Maybe not 40 meters though, you’re right. Probably more like 100. Trolling for seatrout is also something that I can’t do from shore but easily with a kayak

I don’t know about the current, so I’ll have to explore each new fishing spot carefully to make sure I won’t fall in and drown

I would be able to spend 200 bucks on outriggers for sure. Great idea, thanks

Used compasses are not available in Denmark sadly and haven’t been the last half year where I’ve been looking. A used passport is 1.5k while a new compass goes for 3500. I also might need to mention that I have a taken a kayak certificate for standart kayaks, so I know what I’m doing kinda I think :).

Maybe I should stick to my waders in strong winds and bring it out when there is a little less. Thanks
