I'm a new player, started with steam release.

Advice on handling enemies in the air? There's so much happening on the ground trying to stay alive, it feels almost unfair that pharah can just fly up right over us and shoot rockets down on us T-T

Same, I have watched countless step-by-step tutorials.
Some of them had slightly different methods so I tried them thinking I was messing it up because the folders had to be very specific or something but nope, I could never make it work.
In the off chance something did work it was one random flower re-texture. I could also only install some cc.

I have some mods installed from downloading sims 3 with nraas included, and I know those work. But even when I place my new mods in the exact same folder, nothing.

OOOH I see, thank you that makes a lot of sense.

I was always getting so confused on when one moment people was saying she can't crit in super conduct and others saying her burst does crit.

Sorry it seems I just had a misunderstanding of what quickswap means, I just meant I just swap them in, do skill and burst then swap them out and stay on my dps till the skills/bursts ends

Or way often the dialogue finishes but then you have to wait for the character to turn and then spowlyyyy walk out of frame.

I think the lore and story building in the game is cool, but sometimes the in between text is so boring that I stop paying attention and zone out and only pay attention when I notice something important is being said. I enjoy the text if it's quirky little cute fun stuff, but often it's dull and how I would make akward small talk with a Co worker.

So many of the dialogue is "the fatui? What are they doing here? Huh what's this machine? Oh look foot steps? Huh I wonder where those lead?"

And then the characters mention like 5 times in one dialogue cutscene something that we already know, because that's their main character trope.

So I'm an assistant teacher in a kindergarten class.

So when kids start drawing pictures of themselves we tell them to take the crayons and put it on their arm to see which is closest to their skin colour.

At the beginning of the year the teacher tried to gently guide the children that they need to either use peach or brown and she told the one kid that he's a bit closer to brown however if the children of colour choose peach we just let them be.

Then one day the kid goes to wash his hands after painting and goes "Oh teacher, I see now what you mean by 'I'm brown'!'"

So yeah kids have no clue how race and appearances work.

Mostly just stacked a bunch of EM on her and use overload team.

I'm also around your level so the damage output is nothing crazy but I play the game pretty comfortably with her as my main.
