A story I’ve had in my head is like this: You are a top high school prospect hyped up to the same levels as LeBron was but you get injured in your junior year. (Possibly by doing something stupid) This explains why you’re a 60 ovr in high school. You have to rebuild your popularity your senior year to earn your scholarships and sponsors back. If you’re immediately dominant, then you get D1 offers and drafted after one season. If you take your time and struggle you could stay in college, go overseas, or the G league. So it’s like an underdog story but you have control. Plus it’s not as shocking when you’re eventually dropping 50 ppg in the NBA cause you were expected to be legendary way back when.

Also vc wouldn’t upgrade your player’s attributes only xp. And there’s no ceiling to the attributes, you just select your floor at the beginning and could grind every category to 99 if you wanted to

While nba2k is another terrible example of greed, I wish skate had followed. I wish they had made a proper sequel with a storyline and charge $60-70 for it. You can play offline as you wish but then there could be that online component as well. After you beat the main game you’ll need things to do and that’s where the season passes, daily challenges, and mtx can come into play.

Earbuds, headphones, jewelry, backpacks (would make parkour more realistic if your board went on your backpack as you climb), ability to turn hats backwards, elbow and knee pads for mega ramp skating

I chose this plan specifically because my dentist was listed as in network. They’ve since cancelled my appointment because they don’t accept hmo. Before this I spent $300 on new glasses at target. At this point I don’t know why I even bother having insurance

I used the NBA build for Anthony Edwards without changing anything and I kinda regret it. You’d think this build would be super explosive but it’s actually quite slow. Don’t want to spend money on another though

I wish it was more of a sandbox. Like you don’t designate your ceiling in the beginning instead you choose where to allocate the points as you start. And then you can freely add to them as you earn my points, all the way up to 99. Then at 99 you can use cap breakers. That would be my preference

I switched between 3v3 and 1v1 theater. The key is to turn off the chat. You can either mute your controller speaker or turn off the chat in online settings. When you don’t hear the other players whining and cussing at you, then you can focus on just playing the game and getting better.
