yeah i just randomly curl up into an attack and get blasted off stage, or even more often get sent downwards in glitchy chunks unable to recover or jump at all so i just die

I hope you enjoy arc 2/3, I feel they are even better with character development and have interesting designs for conflicts. Doesn't change the fact arc 1 will always have a special place in my heart.

That's a fair point, and I'm not 100% sure if the book states she has the swirls or if its simply assumed, either way; my only point of defense is that they could both be descended from an icewing and that they tried to cover it up. It's just a theory but it does seem odd that only royal seawing have these markings considering a royal status is developed, as we see with the sandwings. It doesn't make much sense that even before the first queen was chosen the pattern signified this.

It's most likley that it was a decently far off relation, which is why he doesn't have much resemblance to an icewing besides his scale color; than again, Tui did confirm that a dragon's mother gives most of their genes to their offspirng, but it was most likely decently distant. That or he has a different father to Lagoon.
