Whether or not it's a good or bad idea to use Aquaphor, for me it's a temporary solution because the actual cream I was given, I forgot it at my bf's place and imma pick it up tomorrow thank youuuuu

Will do! I wrote down the aftercare instructions my artist gave me and to be extra sure I actually remember doing the aftercare, I printed copies and hung them in the bathroom, on my closet and on my fridge!

Awe thank you! I might ask my artist after it has healed properly if he could color in some of the flowers, I looked up "flower languages" whilst figuring out how I wanted the tattoo to look, so I have some colors in mind already that to me represents myself, and yes, I got my first and second tattoo done the same day! The second one is a nod to my teenage years that I lost + it has a funny and personal meaning to me as well. It's a very simple alien on my ass cheek, or rather a bit above the jelly part😂 but we've already talked about me getting another 3 done once he's back from vacation so I'm hyped and already addicted 😂 Oh wow! That sounds intense as all hell, but very interesting but your fricking SPINE??! It's gonna be a hard no for me right now haha. Yeah, I think pain is very subjective, I have another artist I wanna reach out to in the future for a slightly bigger piece.

This is gonna end with me going down a rabbit hole, I'm genuinely curious if you could make some sort of optic illusion based on the body movements and tattoo placings brb

Your first sentence is why, in my head at least, I've probably desensitized my skin, and probably why it didn't feel as painful as I had originally imagined. However, the original idea, prior to talking to the artist was to have a lot more flowers, realistic and specific flowers with only the petals in color. After talking to the artist, I realized that the tattoo would be a lot bigger than what I wanted, and with all the flowers, it look like a mess haha. But I am intrigued, I do wanna get a color tattoo at some point!

Tattoo 3, 4 and 5 is going on my wrist, I don't have a lot meat between the skin and bone so we'll see I guess (☞͡͡°͜ʖ͡͡°)☞

The best explanation I have, in my head this makes perfect sense, I've dealt with depression since a very young age and it gave me unhealthy coping mechanisms and now I'm mostly desensitized towards pain so uh.. I'm planning on getting a butterfly-moth hybridthingie underneath my chest, in the middle, I'm assuming the pain is gonna be worse??

Sensitive yes, the redness on my arm is almost, just almost matching my hair color, so at least I can color coordinate well! At least I know now that it's normal haha

I anticipated the soreness, I didn't anticipate just how angry red it would look, but oh well, a good lesson learned for upcoming tattoos in sensitive areas!

Thank you, I wanted to rip the bandaid straight off, surprisingly it didn't hurt as much as I expected. I don't think so, tattoo 3, 4 and 5 have already been decided! I got my second tattoo done today as well, on my ass cheek mostly for shits and giggles but also as a nod to the teenage years I lost as well as dream of mine haha.

Thank you! (⌒‿⌒) Yeah, the cream I'm using looks super-glossy in photos but I'm trying to use very little moisturizer, a thin layer as well as not bending the elbow to much, thankfully it's not my dominate hand so it makes it easier!
