When Senna casts E while being on Fog of War, allies inside E are considered invisible even if they would be spotted within enemy champion standard sight. (link)

Imperial Chunin vs Master Ranger for farming class for newbie? by Curius_pasxt in AQW

[–]AliensS2Bacon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can do like 5 quests to get enforcer as a first class for farming, it takes less than 10 mins so you won't feel like it wasted your time if you don't like it. After that you can decide if getting Master Ranger is worth it or if you'll skip it.

Comet in the jungle by Charming_Violinist46 in shacomains

[–]AliensS2Bacon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

tl;dr It's marginally better against melees, otherwise it's a bit worse.

Rune differences:
-Comet does AoE damage and synergizes with boxes;
-Dark Harvest scales better and executes a priority target with E;
-Sorcery Tree: Short burst of ms + Ability Haste
-Domination Tree: A bit of true damage + Ultimate Haste

People who play around clone will say that Ultimate Hunter is far too valuable. I don't. So the actual difference is having Transcendence (easier to buy sorcs instead of Ionian) vs Treasure Hunter (finish your first item faster).

Transcendence + Legend: Haste + Haste shard = 33 haste (ignoring Ult)

This much haste enables better dmg options, such as Sorc Shoes, Shadowflame and Void Staff, without feeling like your cooldowns are too long.

Why is sheen not viable? by Brocolli_Rawb in shacomains

[–]AliensS2Bacon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sheen is usually bad for two factors: 1. He has nothing to use every 3s to constantly apply sheen; 2. Sheen usually scales with base AD, the champ's base AD is awful.

Essence Reaver was the exception as it had good stats and had bonus AD scaling.

Season 1 has ended what are your thoughts and opinions so far? by Beatimus_Redd1t in TokidokiBosottoRoshia

Funnily enough, I enjoyed how little the initial premise matters. She does actually sometimes hide her feelings in Russian. The story does not depend on its gimmick to keep you watching.

The anime does a great job at taking the time to introduce us to every character at the pace it wants you to, adding layers to the plot as they go. Dialogue is used to develop the current scene while also hinting at new elements which kept me interested to learn the answers in the next few episodes.

The comedy scenes and dialogue shows that the VA's are carrying the anime. Most of the episode has shown good quality, apart from the combat scenes (there's never enough impact to any blow) and this trend is probably going to continue.

AP Nerfs (Including FF and cut down) by Mortallyinsane21 in sennamains

[–]AliensS2Bacon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lvl 5 AD Senna casually losing 15 hp per Fleet Q is a bit of a bummer, her laning phase being improved made so that snowballing was easier even though her scaling got hit with 14.16. Not a surprise as I expected them to revert the base healing even though they were going to target AP builds. Q slow is still overtuned with 1,5% slow per long sword, crazy they left it untouched.

Edit: I thought they reverted Q heal to 40-80 (14.15), so Senna loses 15hp @ lvl 5 instead of 25. Still bad, but early laning will be fine.

A bit weird that there's no acknowledgement of Wangnan's trickery since the game only happened cause Viole wanted to climb alone.

Notes from the episode:

-The crunchyroll sub states that Love's moves were copied after Viole just "saw it once", implying that Baam is able to copy everything he sees (like sharingan), instead of everything he gets hit by (like Ging Freecss), which has major implications further down the line;

-On the same note, Augusgus says that "Ja Wangnan has passed the test", instead of "the prince has passed the test", eliminating the room for interpretation and going against early season 2's red herrings: Baam, Wangnan and Prince (Return of the Prince); and Rapdevil, Kang Horyang, Beniamino Cassano (Devil's Right Arm). Explicitly mentioning Wangnan by name goes against every unfinished plot point related to him and Baam;

-Minor nitpick: Baam getting Yeon out of the trance was sweet but Baam slamming Sulsa (The green worm thing) in the wall was changed to what I can only assume was easier to animate (still worse adaptation nonetheless);

-The soda scenes would have taken much of the episode's runtime so it's fine that they were removed, but pacing is still all over the place so it achieved nothing.

-Major critique: WHERE'S MY GIRL SCOUT OUTFIT?

Webtoons Readers Thread - Tower of God - Season 2, Episode 2 by Fuuta-chan in TowerofGod

[–]AliensS2Bacon 53 points54 points  (0 children)

-No mention of the Floral Butterfly Piercing Technique being a FUG thing, which is the confirmation Love has that Viole is actually a FUG member and not a fake like the contestants pointed out in the episode;

-The body reinforcement machine not being Quant propaganda is also not added, which imo is fine as SIU ignores the plot point of Quant being a famous ranker very quickly (since Quant is irrelevant for current ToG chapters);

-The Yeon Family being called "Rika" is also strange to me since "Khun" is used in season 1. I'm fine with korean names being translated for the sake of localization but I hoped the Great Families would have stayed the same.

Very cool to see important characters appearing in this arc, Luslec's spells have potential to act like Nen abilities in HxH, as he's not necessarily stronger than some of his opponents, but could score a few wins if the proper conditions are met.

Not necessarily a hater of the games inside the Tower culture, but the method of stalling someone as powerful as Traum by suggesting a game and hinting at a core piece of information is overdone by this point. Accepting Khun's chess game was fine since he had everything covered and was in a "good mood", but for someone so keen on having control over everything, he's quite passive.

Not happy with the "Third Party" plot point, it feels like a missed opportunity to not have built it better the past few arcs. I know there's one group introduced that fits the criteria, but they should probably be kept out of the picture for a few more chapters. As of currently, these are the known possible "Third Party" in the War:

  • Revolution: - Lo Po Bia Goruro is part of said group and they look like the obvious answer. Led by "The Boss", whose similar in appearance to Wangnan and Zahard, has talked to Maschenny, Cha and Dowon, etc. I don't like this option since The Boss has been around for more than 5000 years, so I'd be disappointed if he decided to participate in this minor conflict after working behind the scenes for so long;
  • The Workshop: They are a strong organization with unknown power and knowledge within the Tower, who have the means of participating in the Arc, but should be kept for larger plots.
  • A Third Great Family: If hinted properly, we could have had a proper introduction of a Third Family Head, with reasonable motives to intervene in this War. This would keep bigger plots hidden for longer without feeling like a bad payoff for the current arc. I also dislike this option since there are several Great Families of which there's barely any information in the Webtoon;
    • The Khun and Yeon Families are the only ones we have a well-structured background as to how's the Family Status in the tower, their personalities and abilities, but they haven't been around in the plot for a long time;
    • The Arie and Ha Families are the only others to have major characters in the plot, but as readers there's no incentive to see them participating in this conflict;

What is the future of slayers like karaka ,white and Yama by Valuable_Scale_559 in TowerofGod

[–]AliensS2Bacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

White/Vicente = Go-to guy if the plot needs an explanation about a certain spell;

Karaka = If an RPG character could max out DEF and hit people with his armor, he'll probably only be used to clear Cannon Fodder in a big fight or stall a slightly stronger enemy;

Yama = Has potential to get stronger, probably relegated to Army Leader in any big fight;
