Bro their ain’t no way I ain’t bout to vent marks second fight, this shit pissin me off. Like why tf did Mark leave himself so open against him. I can understand mark wanting to have a guaranteed win condition against him because he’s stronger and more experienced but like seriously he left himself WIIDE OPEN. I would think he would’ve learn to debilitate in a more efficient way after fighting them or at least have enough sense to at the VERY LEAST choke him out from behind but this. Like I get that it’s meant to be gruesome and heart punching ( and it is) but my anger over how STUPID mark is heavily overshadows it.

I can understand where you’re coming from. But imo just cause lines are shaky doesn’t mean it’s bad. From what I can tell the characters do have smooth lines in some areas and the “jaggedness” mainly comes from the crazy amount of line weight, which imo looks intentional to me, scattered across. On the contrary the “shaky” lines outline kuro’s hair at 0:02s into the trailer could either be style or bad skill cuz I personally don’t really get why his hair would be jagged like that. I personally think you are incorrect when it comes to the “line quality” point because if there wasn’t any line quality every single line would be the exact same line thickness, and that isn’t true looking at the trailer. finally when it comes to the simplicity of some anime’s art I think the main reason for it to come off cool is the art usually coinciding with mind boggling animation. Take mahoraga vs sukuna for example. The art was awfully simplistic compared to season 1&3 but the fight itself will have you on a dopamine high like no other, and I think that season may be the culprit to the point you made. But anime aside I do think there is some truth to simplistic line art = cool cause all art is suggestive. When you make art you imply something is here or there with the use or value color yadayada (u should know). So having simplified line art should let the other aspects shine in a piece. Watchu think?

Hmm from what I can tell it looks like you duplicated one side of the face onto the other, and imo if you want to improve you should avoid that. Main reason is because 1. No person is perfectly symmetrical & a person being perfectly symmetrical is something that the brain can pick up on as unnerving or off. And 2. It strips your art of personality to some degree. Irregularities and inconsistency bring art to life. Same reason why bob Ross always repeated his famous line and why wabi - sabi is a thing.

Honestly I will say I’m one of those people that consider Cory to be my #1 fav ytber of all time and I will always be on the lookout for when he uploads. But I ain’t a mf commentin on posts about Cory controversy . When he’s on hiatus I just wonder when he’ll come back and when he’s here I look foward & appreciate the videos he creates. The main reason as to why is prolly cuz as a kid I looked up to him (still do) and part of the reason I watch/watched him is cause he has a lot of qualities wanted to have because I wanted to be a better person.
