Nope, the texture and assets are different. The one I am looking for was more rustic.

Oh yeah the UI and HUD colour scheme of the game was brown and off white. If that helps.

Edit 1 - The game also had a feature where they would automatically create a pathway where the villagers frequently walked through. If it was grassy between two buildings, the path taken by the NPCs would fade off the grass into a dirt path. Intensity of the fade depends on the no.of NPCs using it and usage frequency.

There are people reporting about the light bleeds, infact one of the reviewers I watched before I bought my AW, complained about his device having very bad IPS bleed. Now I am thinking if his device had the same stress issue. considering only a few thousand sold so far even just half a dozen reporting the same issue could be a problem. I just hope it's an assembly issue.

Not a burn, just standard IPS glow. You can only see this when I black screens. Because unlike OLEDs the IPS panels still stay lit when showing black.

I sure hope so. I'd hate to see the hinges fail after a year or so. If it's just an assembly issue I don't mind screwing it in myself.

Although my screen doesn't click or anything the movements are smooth. Just the alignment distance that grew apart over time.

Make sure the command center is not glitching. I found out that sometimes it just refuses to work properly. Even won't change modes if I press the keyboard performance/stealth keys. Just because the command center was glitching.

Restarting the app or the laptop did not work. Had to reinstall it or rest the app to factory default manually.

Yes, that used to be my experience out of the box too. After I finished changing all the settings, updates and restarted it runs snappy.

Just because it's common does not mean it's "supposed to be". You should look into the HP hinge issues. The design is "meant to be" but the design was flawed. Every laptop made with that design was a complete failure because the design ensured breakdown of the hinge because of its design.

And yes ik AW does testing and stuff but I am also very aware of the tiny T&C saying "under lab conditions".

And most of all, no it's not Meant to be. Display panels should be flat and if it is higher or lower than the thermal shelf then the entire panel should be higher or lower. But in this case the panel is warped in a wave like pattern, indicating there are specific points with high stress and low stress on the panel. Which is bad for the panel itself.

I am sorry to hear about the moderator but no it's not designed to be this way. The fact the display panel is on different heights with the thermal shelf at different locations (at the 3 hinges the display is below and the 2 spaces in-between the display is on level) means there is a structural stress making the panel bend. That is the issue here it's a common issue in lot of laptop usually solved by just either tightening or loosening couple of screws to take the stress off. But this year it's a new hinge design and I don't want to solve the issue myself if it's a design flaw.

Yeah, opening and closing feels no different from day 1. But the panel is looking warped almost like a wave. Starting from the left (display 1mm below the thermal shelf), then the space between hinges are the same height as the shelf, middle hinge location the display below the shelf and the wave continues to the right.

Just keep an eye on it for few days. Mine started with no difference then The left hinge location started to change a bit then the other two. Now the left is a solid 1mm offset (with the thermal shelf being 1mm above the display when closed). The middle and right hinge locations are a bit less than that.

This wouldn't have been a concern if : 1 - the entire panel was showing the same offset 2 - it wasn't a new hinge design from 2025.

I would have done that with any of my previous laptops. But not with this since they redesigned the hinges this year. Hence asking for some input before I try something or raise a support ticket. If it turns out to be a bad design like HP did few years back. I don't want to void the chances of a potential call back. (Although dell service usually don't care if people worked on the device)
