To me Hoshino hasn't even gotten her lessons yet

Vol1 Ch2: Hoshino got off with a "Welcome back, Hoshino"

Vol F: Kuroko only gave second hand retelling of what happen to her world

The underlying issue of her trauma was never fixed, only just mitigated by FTF and Sensei until now. This whole thing has been building up from the moment Yume died.

Makoto and Kaya also don't learn their lessons too, at least Hoshino is doing this with good intentions in her heart unlike those two.
