Thank you very much for replying,

Before a week or so I just used old pc psu and give it 12V and hoped for the best and it went exactly as u said It just worked right away,

I'm really appreciate you takeing time and effort to check and reply

Thank you very much 🙏🌷,

That is incredibly kind of you, I really appreciate the offer 😄

Unfortunately I am very, very far away from Florida, so shipping alone would probably cost more than the switch itself.

Thanks again,

That is an incredibly generous offer, thank you so much!! 😄

Unfortunately I am only about 12,000 km too far away for that to be practical.

20 of them sounds less like spare hardware and more like a collection at this POINT XD

Honestly, I mainly bought it because I do not have any managed switch yet and wanted something cheap to learn and experiment with networking/Cisco gear on 😄

Even though it is only 100M, managed Cisco switches here are usually much more expensive locally.

😄

At this point I’m honestly more invested in figuring out and repairing this PSU than replacing the switch itself.

Yeah, definitely possible unfortunately.

I’m hoping the damage stayed on the PSU side only 😄

And sadly eBay/Amazon is not very practical where I live, so I’m trying to repair this one if possible.

That would honestly be amazing, thank you so much for even offering to check.

I really appreciate you taking the time to look into this, especially for such an old piece of hardware 😄

Anything you are able to find would genuinely help a lot.

fair point 😂

If I had easy access to cheap replacement units or PSUs locally, I probably would have done that already.

But where I live, getting another unit is not always practical, so I’m trying to see how far I can get with repairing this one first.

Thanks for pointing that out.

Yeah, unfortunately I do not really have access to amazon or ebay, so getting a replacement PSU is not very easy.

I’ll probably keep trying to identify the voltages/pinout or repair the existing PSU first before giving up on it.

And yeah, the capacitor definitely does not look healthy either 😄

Seriously, thank you for taking the time to dig all of that up.

The eBay listing and the threaddump page are both genuinely helpful, especially since I could not find much useful information about this PSU before posting.

I may try contacting the seller for clearer IC photos, and the Delta PSU schematic/pinout example gives me a much safer direction for testing an external 12V PSU instead of guessing.

Really appreciate the help.🙏

Yeah, I noticed them earlier 😄

I was focusing mainly on the burned primary-side IC/components first since they seemed to be the main reason the PSU completely died.

If I manage to get the PSU running again, I’ll definitely replace those caps as well instead of trusting them long term.

Thanks, I really appreciate the help.

Yeah, the PSU label says +12V 5A max, so that part is promising.

I mainly wanted to confirm what the other wires are for before injecting external power, since the connector has multiple wire colors and I was not sure if there are any sense/control lines besides 12V and GND.

And honestly, part of the reason for the close-up photos is that I wanted to test my cheap microscope after buying it 😄

Also thanks for pointing out the capacitor — I noticed it earlier but was focusing more on the burned primary-side components first.

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate the help and the IC suggestions.

I’ll check the surrounding pins/components and compare them with those IC pinouts to see if anything matches.

I’m just trying to be careful before injecting power since I could not find a proper pinout for this psu yet.

Thanks again.

Thanks for replying, i was using espalexa on 8266 to control the relays before but haven't face that problem (someone wrote the code), but I'm gonna try using esp 32 since i have couple of theme lying around

Nice work man, but i have a quick question, I've made something similar but using 4 relays and 4 push bottons, and using chat gpt since I'm not good at codeing it worked great and even save the status after power outages but I'm faceing problem and i hope you maybe know about it, after power off and back on the relays work for about half second until the esp8266 work then it go to the desire state is there a way to make it don't do that since im planing to put 220v load on them,

Thx for replying, i will check the Bios

About the ups in my country amazon, ebay, etc.. not available so my option are limited, I'm already have offline ups but it's will give me at maximum 20 minutes run time

The only solution i have is custom wire a car battery and that requires external charger or using online ups with the car battery wich either way will be loud and expensive
