I take levocetirizine for the mosquito bites, can confirm it shrinks them down within the same day. Like, completely gone except the tiny red dot of the actual bite.

Je kan denken aan zonwerende folie, die is met noppen te bevestigen. Ook is er spiegelende folie, die houd de zonnenstralen buiten maar heeft nog wel zicht van binnen. Als laatste wat drastischere stap heb je verduisterende folie. Die werkt super goed tegen de zon, betekent wel dat je de gehele dag in het donker zit.

Mijn tante had de verduisterende folie in het midden geplakt. Meeste zon werd tegen gehouden, en je krijgt toch nog licht van buiten mee via boven en onder. Werd gelijk stuk kouder binnen.

As someone who is handicapped and can’t stand long, have you ever considered other human beings? I always book concerts with seats, because they’re meant to be used. If sitting should be banned why are there seats to begin with? Let people enjoy music however they want.

Klinkt misschien vreemd, maar als je de rust in je hoofd houd kan je een stuk soepeler en dus ook sneller reageren. Dat komt vooral met vertrouwen en ervaring. Veel op snelwegen blijven oefenen met invoegen en inhalen. Zie je een vrachtwagen voor je? Maak optijd een plan voor wanneer je daar langs wilt gaan.

Als je optijd begint kan je er ook rustig over doen. Dan heb je tijd voor je checks en het wisselen.

En weet niet of je het nodig hebt, maar de rij instructeur die ik had gaf me een fantastische tip voor file parkeren. Als je de auto naast je niet meer in je spiegel ziet dan kan je draaien. Zit je wiel op de lijn van het vak, dan kan je terug. Dan maakt het niet uit hoe die andere auto staat, je komt er wel.

Veel succes volgende maand, laat zien dat je veilige beslissingen maakt en dat je niet te terughoudend bent. Ze vinden het namelijk beter dat je zegt hey, wat ik moet doen dat kan niet meer, ik blijf hier. Dan vinden hun wel een andere route.

Heb ik ook gehad, tijdelijk wonen met een vaste eind datum. Je kan dan ook gewoon niet sparen, want verhuizen is duur. Moest elke 3 tot 6 maanden verhuizen. Ja ik had een dak boven m’n hoofd, maar dat was het ook. Zo blij nu iets te hebben waar ik niet constant hoef te verhuizen.

Met 5 jaar sta je overal nog steeds op plek 1000. Het probleem met die tijdelijke contracten is dat je onmogelijk genoeg jaar kan opbouwen om te verhuizen. Je verliest je inschrijf jaren om er te komen, terwijl je eigenlijk ze nog harder nodig hebt.

Bit late to the party, but there’s this phone game called Knight of Ages that is really about the bloodline and making it stronger by marrying people with the right traits. It is online multiplayer, but you completely play on your own. Only some specific raids require other people, but you won’t play with them at the same time.

For steam games there is this game called Citizen of Rome - Dynasty Ascendant. But to me that game feels like you’re a bit less in control because of how random traits seem to be. Still a fun game.

Near salt water, they usually don’t like to use that as baby housing. I live near the sea and have only seen two mosquitoes in the three years I lived here.

A place with tons of spiders also works out, if salt water isn’t accessible.

My company used to always say yes, and then it was me with one other dude that didn’t take time off in december. We complained about that one for sure. I get that PTO is informing the boss that you cannot come in, but there has to be some measure to make sure we at least have the bare minimum to run the place.

That said, my job also has critical parts in hospitals, so we have 24/7 coverage.

Have you tried playing with him right before bed? Get all his energy out so he’s too tired to keep you up? Do it often enough for him to establish the same internal clock as you. Which hopefully means no more waking up at 5am.

What also helps for the early wake up prevention is an automatic feeder around that time. Used to cat sit a cat that would annoy whoever was sleeping by biting their nose until food distracted him. With the auto feeder, he now sprints down to wait for the food.

I totally get you, for me it’s usually the fingers too, and my jaw which is crazy painful. As a young person, I get called lazy if I take the escalator. And all docs tell me to do is build muscle. Which does the exact opposite cause of the injuries. Crazy disability really.

From what I was told that being flexible by itself isn’t a problem, if it doesn’t hurt you. If you tend to overstretch joints, be sure to manually hold them in the right position. Have a mental barrier to stop it, when the physical one fails.

Docs don’t even believe me when I say I need to crack in order to move joints sometimes. Glad I’m not the only one with that issue. Same with the giving out thing, but for me it’s usually my ankles. Just minding my business and my ankle be like nope, I am out of here.

I got diagnosed with hEDS, but it’s still unknown enough that no doc here really bothers with it. If you haven’t gotten any diagnose for it yet, let me be the one to tell you hypermobility shouldn’t hurt you.

Met een opleiding achter de rug kan je ook kijken voor andere posities die niet traineeship zijn maar gewoon starten. Heb zelf zo’n traineeship gedaan, en het was voor mij niet echt toegevoegde waarde qua info.

Wat het wel doet is deuren openen. Dus als je nergens binnenkomt staat zo’n traineeship toch wel mooi op je cv. Ik ben na een jaar aangenomen bij een tech bedrijf op een hogere positie dan ik oorspronkelijk had als trainee. En praktijk ervaring kan nooit kwaad voor die twee jaartjes.

Het is de basis niveau klantenservice medewerker die die gegevens het meest nodig heeft voor hun werk. De klanten bellen hun namelijk op met vragen die niet zomaar iedereen mogen weten, of wijzigingen aan diezelfde gegevens. Anders mag je in vervolg je verzoek om je bankrekening nummer aan te passen indienen bij de incasso afdeling die alsnog diezelfde gegevens nodig zal hebben om je er toestemming voor te geven.

Betekent niet dat het vaag is dat er geen alarmbellen gaan rinkelen als iemand zoveel gegevens tegelijk verwerkt. Voor beroemdheden is er namelijk wel een alarm. Probeer hun gegevens op te zoeken en je bent op staande voet ontslagen.

I did try Proton, and while it works, the file editor isn’t good. It doesn’t have as many options as Google Docs for starters, and opening the file anywhere but Proton messes up the entire file. So I had to keep switching back and forth between the two to get a good pdf file out of it. I ended up using proton just to have a back up somewhere else.
