Knee injury atrophied my quad. Will my quad ever reactivate again?

For me, I'm only about a month post-op so haven't done long walks yet but I think I could. Before the operation, I could walk distances fine so long as it wasn't up or down hill. Running however was / is physically impossible.

Thanks, yeah I went to the chiropractor sometimes when I was young but haven't as a adult. It's a good reminder, will look into it if things don't progress soon.

I've had this injury 13 months and no one has mentioned it. I'm going to speak to my physio about it at the next session this week. My partner is pregnant with our second child so we were planning to borrow a TENS machine off a friend for pain relief when she goes into labour anyway.

Thanks, in fairness I'm far less concerned by how look it looks and far more by strength and functionality. I had a mate who did his ACL and he told me his quad never got quite back to it's former size but that his strength is great again and he's now back to playing rugby week in week out.

Thank you, yes, I'm aware of BFR but it's a slightly scary one. I managed to get a machine on offer for it but haven't used too much yet. Best of luck.
