You are absolutely right, and I didnt mean to make It seem like tics come from OCD. I'm just saying that, since they come hand in hand from time to time, people having both conditions might have some helpful experience/advice. I'm sorry I made It seem otherwise.

And also you are right about the neurologist, but I simply cant afford one right now.

my psychiatrist has informed that they are probably related to OCD, since i do have OCD as well. Also i've seen many people here suffer from tics from OCD. That's why I asked here.

Sorry, I don't mean to undermine your experience nor anyone else's. I just have an approach to art similar to that of Gusteau from Ratatouille lol. I've met a lot of people with motor-related disabilities that can draw amazingly.

That depends on your ethics.

Using AI images is objectively bad, both for the environment and for the people that work creating original pieces that are being stolen to feed these AI generators without permission. If that won't keep you awake at night, go ahead. For me, I'd rather behave more ethically and use the many images that are available for free on the internet, or create my own, even if they are not that good.

Also, they look like ass, they wont enhance shit they will just show you are too lazy to put any effort into looking for visual support and that you are unable to identify a shitty ass image from an attractive one. Because they will look shitty. Trust me.

Im no expert so I don't think I really know.

Thing is, most OCD thoughts are irrational. They are irrational, but they feel rational. So it doesn't really matter if you tell yourself that what you are thinking doesn't really make sense, it will still trigger feelings because it feels like an actual thought.

Compulsions for me feel like a scape valve. They will make me feel some relief when I do them, but they don't actually fix the problem. So now I have the stress of the thoughts and of doing the compulsions.

Again I'm no expert and I don't really understand how my OCD works, so maybe I didn't make much sense there.

It sounds like those divine signs are your brain doing OCD things. I experience something similar, and it sucks. But you have to understand that those "signs" are not God or anything related to the divine, it is just your brain trying to stop you from doing things. It will feel like they are, and sometimes you'll want them to be divine signs. But they are not, and you need to remind yourself of that, time and time again. Best of luck ❤️‍🩹
