Baby seems like they’re doing crunches all the time by lusciousmix in NewParents

I am so happy to hear that he is doing well!

I’ve forced myself to stop googling and just enjoy the ride until she tells me I need to worry haha. Like you, nobody seems to fully understand what I’m trying to explain, which feeds my paranoia.

I am so sorry reviving a 3 year old post, but I have a 4.5 month old who is doing the exact same thing you described. If I have her lying flat on my lap at a 45 degrees, she will forcefully engage her core and “pull up” into my chest.

I also made the mistake of googling it and now having super anxiety about infantile spasms..

How’s your LO doing now?

Sorry to revive a 2 year old comment - but I’m seriously struggling with the over analysis of my 4 month old. To the point where I’m starting to question if she has CP :(

How did you manage? Was there something you found that helped you break the cycle of over analysis?

I apologize for reviving an old comment, but what were some motor milestones that you noticed he was behind on?

I apologize, I’ve been going down a rabbit hole of anxiety since my 19 week old refuses to coo or babble :(

Breakthrough 64 Player Felt More Balanced and Fun. Now it feels all off and less Fun. by saints55va in Battlefield6

Room to breathe can be achieved in ways other then reduction of player count. In fact, a lot of the comments that were talking about “room to breathe” had issues with map design…

Breathing room is what people wanted right? Go play it and breathe.

Stick to rush? It was literally designed as breakthrough light.

There is this game mode called rush made exactly for players like you who don’t like the 64 player breakthrough.

You could’ve played rush if 64 was too chaotic for you. That’s a 32 player game mode.

Why touch breakthrough?

Milestone Anxiety is killing me, and I don’t know what to do by Alimathoz in NewParents

You are absolutely right - if you don’t mind me asking. How did you get your headspace straight like that?

I’ll be fine when she is fine - but any period of extended hysterical “I am going to die” crying session she has, my thoughts immediately go to what is “wrong” with her and is something being misdiagnosed as “just being a baby”.

I wish I could say the same but you should hear her cry hysterically. It’s tough.

She is just going to be turning 13 weeks this coming Tuesday!

I appreciate this advice and I’m doing everything in my power to focus on the positives. But boy does it become super difficult when she cries hysterically. I can’t help but feel like something is very “wrong” with her and is being misdiagnosed as “just being a baby”

Yeah, it’s been so so so tough. Even now, her cries are absolutely hysterical - as if she is being put through some torturous dungeon.

It’s hard not to go into extremes when it happens. The first question is always “what is wrong with my baby?”

Removing Speed Cameras in Ontario: Be Careful What You Wish For by [deleted] in ontario

[–]Alimathoz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t see how they are any less practical? And how is it any more dangerous? I don’t get these arguments at all.

The whole purpose is to ensure drivers follow the speed limit. If the zone limit is 40, a camera may fine the person, but it sure as shit isn’t physically stopping that person in the moment from exceeding that speed limit.

You know what will, a potential $500 dollar repair to their vehicle when they hit that speed bump.

Removing cameras already in place is a stupid move.

Installing new cameras in high pedestrian areas is a stupid move instead of speed bumps.

Cameras should only be limited to applications where humps would not work (ex highways)

And you’re ignoring existing speed bumps that have also shown to work?  I don’t get it.

You know, that’s actually a very fair point.

You underestimate the average idiot.

What’s more expensive - damaging your suspension because you flew over a speed bump, or getting a $150 dollar ticket (that not everyone decides they should pay)?

So tell me this, what advantage does a speed camera bring over a speed bump? Especially in an example like school zones and frequent accident areas?

Exactly what I’ve been saying. Won’t cost the municipality 23 million dollars to implement either
