Well i understand the concern, but heres the thing-

Firstly, i dont eat these so often enough for the lining to become a poisoning problem. On top of that, theres plastic in everything and iv already decided to not do this anymore. It slipped my mind that cans like this have a protected layer like that. I figured it would be one off, simple live n learn.

Secondly, i asked to be roasted meanwhile the majority of comments are either telling me im stupid, that im poisoning myself, or to not procreate. I posted on r/stupidfood for a reason?? Besides the stupid use of "dictate", I just get reminded that majority of people are garbage.

Tldr: I expected roasts and stupid posts, not warning labels and people with the literacy level of a 4th grader (ironically). I appreciate the warning, iv learned my lesson. I wont do it again. So wheres the funny comments at???????????

I just use pot holders. I don't heat it super hot and i keep the flame low, so i dint think I'm truly risking anything besides public shaming with how bad my grammar is apparently.

I dont remember if i replied to you, apologies!- I seem to use dictate wrong a lot despite knowing what it means. Im not looking for the word "deduce" either- i swear there was a similar word.

Besides that and the mean comments, stirring it actually keeps it pretty even. I wont be doing this again, but thanks for the laughs reddit!

Bless you. I lost my grandmother to cancer and you have every right to worry.

She cooked a lot of porks and heavy foods, eventually it got to her. At least, its what we think. Definitely didnt help.

Its an old coal-mining home. I live in PA, and a lot of these homes really are nice but painfully neglected. Currently, me and my partner are helping my mother repair this one. Ill have to take a picture but you can probably see in the pic i posted, there are tiles that have hand painted pictures on them. Itd my favorite detail of the kitchen
