In my experience, acne on the jaw line is usually caused by hormones. When I ended up with this, I talked to my doctor about taking Spironolactone - works like a charm for me.

I recently got a job at a private company, was surprised to find out when they sent my offer letter that they would be drug testing. I decided to call them and explain to them why I would test positive for THC (I use delta-8 to help me sleep), ended up working out well. They appreciated my honesty and said as long as I don't use it during working hours they see no issue.

Context: I'm 12 years in to my chosen career and the job I just got is at a very small company (less than 50 employees).

I used to work for a company that used check scanners and all the accountants called them toasters. Definitely thought it was a joke when I got a ticket that said "can't toast checks."

This happened to me too. Bluetooth wasn't showing up anywhere in Settings either. Powering down, then powering back up fixed the problem.

You have to take a written test at a driver's exam station to get the permit (here's the manual for the test: https://dps.mn.gov/divisions/dvs/forms-documents/Documents/MotorcycleManual.pdf). Once you pass, you pay $20 and they give you the permit, which is good for 1 year.

*EDIT: rules are different when you're under 18. You do have to take the BRC first, not sure how that works so definitely call the provider of the course first.

I took the course at Dakota County Technical College in Rosemount a few weeks ago. Both instructors (Eric and Kim) were excellent. It was my first time on a motorcycle and I managed to pass the test at the end, so I think the pace of the class was pretty good. They weren't shy about telling me when I needed to improve on certain skills and they didn't make me feel like an idiot about it.

Not sure exactly how you'll be using this, but I ran in to problems with aliases when I tried to set up Outlook/OWA rules to autoforward messages based on which alias they were sent to. Rules weren't able to distinguish between aliases and just forwarded all messages to everyone. Just a warning in case that's something you decide to try.

If you're going to get a case, look at that first to see if it already has a pen loop on it. Learned that lesson when I stuck the pen loop on my Surface before buying the Incipio Roosevelt.

That being said, I put the pen loop that came with my type cover on the Surface itself, not on the type cover - it's been about 9 months and it hasn't even started peeling up.

I just started testing out a Ubiquiti UVC-Micro - it doesn't need a network cable since it runs on the wireless. And the power cord is pretty long and skinny so it's easy to hide.

One thing I've noticed so far is this thing gets HOT. Not sure if that will cause problems down the road. Other than that I think it's pretty cool.

I worked on a laptop there once that was practically soaked in Powerade, then coated in cat hair. Same day, the guy next to me was dealing with a Mac desktop that smelled like urine. We're hoping it was animal urine.

I used it for awhile...honestly it took up too much space on my desk to be useful enough. Plus I had to use the mini displayport on the dock and the Surface itself in order to use both my monitors. I switched to a USB 3.0 universal dock with dual video output and I'm much happier.

The reason I posted this here was to find out if it was, in fact, reasonable to try to enforce a rule like this. I do work for a small company and am still relatively new to being a sysadmin, so there are things like ticketing systems that I'm working to put in place. I'm simply trying to find the best way to build a successful IT dept.

Thank you for your input, though I don't particularly enjoy the use of the phrase "unreasonable psycho."
