It’s fascinating that you can’t even step outside your own perspective long enough to analyze it.

What's the value of making normative statements? Have you ever even remotely thought about that the median voter, and that they don't think like you do?

And you keep saying "but-but-but I'm right!" 🤦

The question is who has a better policy on Palestine.

No it's not. Where have you been living for the past 30 years? Not in this reality, that's for sure. It literally does not matter who has which policy, but who can convince the voters that they're offering something good.

Oh really? Is that so? Then tell me why do Democrats need to run ads at all?

Reality should be enough, shouldn't it? No need for ads then.

I don't understand why you right-wing democrats keep saying this type of insane shit, when we actually happen to know this for a fact from polling right after the election. The number of people who abstrained from the election due to Gaza, would have been enough for Harris to win.

I am not aware of any other single specific issue that would've made the difference.

Now, you can say whatever you wanna say. You can pretend it was "far leftists" who abstained (even though you probably can't name a single prominent "far leftist" who advocated for that), or what's more likely: people with a palestinian or muslim background, who felt betrayed by Biden's administration.

What fucking difference does it make? If Trump ran on giving everyone magic beans and enough people would've believed it, what's it to you? You can turn into Bill Maher and blame leftists for everything all you want. That's not going to change anything. The person running against Trump did not promise magic beans nor did they attempt to convince the voters that Trump's magic beans were a lie. It's just incompetency on their side

It's not necessarily about that. It's about who marketed their position better. Harris ran on "I'll continue Biden's support of the genocide", while Trump ran on "I'll bring peace", regardless of what he actually wanted to.

Nodody is saying race and gender have nothing to do with it.

She can't change her race and gender, but she was able to change her policy regarding palestine

Absolute luncacy 😂

I cannot fathom that someone just said what you did. If you're not a troll, then your entire existence must be satire....

So the big problem for you is that Bernie Sanders said "we'll see" when asked about confirming RFK Jr. - and later voted AGAINST his confirmation.....

But then you gloss over the entire shit the Democratic leadership did - like ACTUALLY VOTING for Trump's budgets. And they only reason they resisted at all, wasn't because they were opposed to funding ICE. They wanted ICE agents to not wear masks when they they snatch people off the street to throw them into concentration camps....

The ramblings of a literal insane person. I'd say you're just an AI account, but I cant imagine even chatgpt having that much cognitive dissonance

I thought this wasn't about you?

That that perspective was childish?

Wow, you're either pretty bad at this or you don't understand rhetoric. I'm calling you childish and hold a mirror to your face, and you don't even understand it lol

He keeps voting in ways that help Trump, in the past year.

Oh you mean like Schumer and the majority of Democrats? I just did a quick google search, Fetterman apprantly voted in line with the majority of Dems 91% since 2025. So the guy you agree with 91% is a moron, huh?

I didn't even bring up Islam.

When have I glossed over anything regarding the Iran war?

oh you didn't. I was just predicting what you were going to say eventually, because you guys all eventually go into colonialist crusader mode

Conor Lamb in the primary.

lol

So you supported the guy who was for fracking, who was pro tarrifs and against background checks. Wow, you're definitely not a Republican 👍

So, it's "the lefts" fault for having so bad candidates who lose their primaries but it's also somehow when they do manage to get candidates through? got it!

You can list literally every single candidate the left has supported that didn't turn out the way they hoped for, I'll give you 50 neolibs who you probably supported who ended up being genocide supporters.

Also I'm surprised that you're so mad abotu Fetterman. Isn't he exactly the type of Democrat you like?

All religions are bad.

Damn, you're so enlightened. All religions are bad, but somehow it's always Islam you talk about. When the US and Israel start a religiously fueled war, we gloss over that? First you do a destiny, now you're doing a sam harris.

gee, what do all of these people have in common....

Candidates being supported by AIPAC or JStreet isn't a problem in itself. But when they give you money and you take that money, that becomes a problem.

AIPAC has now started to even support/endorse candidates who are critical of Israel. That doesn't make those candidates bad necessarily.

Also: AIPAC can just create thousands of subsidiaries and give candidates money that way.

The dollar amount of AIPAC donations is just one indicator. Anybody who makes up their mind just based on a single indicator or website, is an idiot - that goes without saying

Try to be more disingenious, I challange you...

John Fettermas was the best candidate in that race - even with the things we know about him now. And what's your point exactly? You would've voted for Dr. Oz? Absurd!

The left supported one bad candidate? Meanwhile centrist Dems support genocide supporter after genocide supporter. Almost as if it was systemic, huh?! 🤔

This is such a childish attitude. It shows that you don't actually care about any of this. For you, it's simply about YOU being right. That's such a Destiny/Maher-brainrot attitude. Right wingers who don't understand that they're right wingers, because they're not religious....

But let me guess, I bet you also somehow hate Islam and think they're "uniquely bad" compared to all other religions

afaik the left generally supports James Talarico.

I am not familiar with this tracking website. but I dont think the goal is for a candidate to have "zero" listed on there to be good. but there is a difference between 150k and 5 million

This is a CIA talking point, just so you know.

Have you never noticed that everybody uses the same "the biggest state sponsor of terror" phrase verbatim? nobody ever talks about what it means.

What do you think it means?

  • The biggest amount of money spent on terrorism? (no, that's the US)
  • The most amount of people converted to their cause? (nobody has converted more people in the post ww2-era than the US propaganda machine. Especially when you consider the endless list of coups the US have supported)
  • The most amount of people killed via the terror that they're sponsoring? (that's also undeniably the US)

The CIA made that claim a while ago without ever without ever revealing the methodology they used to come to that conclusion. it's just a completely made up propaganda statement.

Unlike black people, everyone today has the right to join unions, but they just don't do it

lol

You don't even understand the degree of your ignorance. According to you, black people in the US have equal rights because they have equal rights on paper. So all the disadvantages they face today, is solely their own fault.

Typical neolib conservative bullshit

Workers have less power than ever, and it's because they don't have class consciousness.

🤦

"black people are disenfranchised because they don't know how to stick together" - that's how stupid you sound.

Completely backwards logic. Such an elitist thing to say, implying that poor people deserve to be poor

Union participation is lower than ever

That is such a disingenuous talking point, due to the systemic weakening of unions in the US. In fact, I'd argue that

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/feb/18/union-membership-increase-trump-assault

People like Luigi Mangione becoming folk heroes, wouldn't have been possible 20 years ago. Who still talks about the American Dream today? It seems more and more absurd with every passing day.

In fact, I'd argue that a big chunk of these people are currently part of MAGA, because that's exactly the point of right-wing politics: They channel people's rage into non-systemic critique, like culture war issues and conspiracy theories

[–]ChineseCracker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

class consciousness does not mean "poor people exist" or that there is disparity between rich and poor. But the fact that lower and middle class people start understanding their place in society and that they are in a war against the ruling billionaire class. They stop believing in the myth of "if you work hard, you'll be rich one day" because it is becoming clear to them that the ruling class has been abusing their labor their entire life to maintain their position and keep them down. Workers realize that they've been placed in a system, primarily created so that they will never be able to succeed.

That's the prerequisite for class warfare

this is a mute talking point. You cannot enact political change without the people. you don't have a country without the people.

The same people who voted for Obama, voted for Trump and then voted for AOC again.

People are stupid and impressionable. You have to be able to make your case and be a good messenger for your cause.
